Our front lawn went from green (with another company) to brown and dead in the span of a few months with Ultragreen. I spoke to a supervisor who informed me they would not be replacing the sod, and that, in their estimation it was not due to their neglect, but instead blamed us (homeowners). Explanation - we set watering times too often (20mins at 4 am 5 days a week). This was during the dry season, plants that border the lawn and lawn itself were all thriving at this setting before Ultragreen took over. Further, the damage occurred only in the front lawn - sides and back lawn are still green, although back lawn has a considerable amount of weeds now. When i asked again, why only the front had died off - when all of the lawn received the same amount of water - he was unable to answer, but attempted to say - the front (south facing) probably gets less sun (allowing for the lawn to rot from too much moisture), and more shade than either the sides (flanked by 2 story homes) or back, which is fenced in with a 7 foot privacy fence. Verdict - he was unable to explain and or take responsibility for Ultragreen's lack of service and attention to our lawn. "Owner" - My name is Mike Cooley - your company sent a supervisor out here several times, I was in constant contact with representatives from your company.

      Response from the owner

Hello Mike, Sorry you didnt get the healthy lawn you wanted. There are many factors that contribute and detract from the health of the lawn. In your lawn the technician noted you had fungus from over watering and requested a reduction of the amount of times the lawn was being irrigated.  On my final property visit I noted the same fungal issues. You mentioned that these instructions were being disregarded as you know a grounds keeper from a local hotel who gave you contrary advice. Orange county limits watering to 1 time a week before daylight savings and 2 times a week after (please see attached pics). You disregarded our advice and also the county ordinance of 1 time per week. Watering your lawn 5 times a week not only caused the deteriorating condition in your lawn but also wasted valuable local water (during drought conditions) in the process. I attached the original post incase the post is edited from its original form. See photos in gallery

Great Service! Been with company about 4 months now. My lawn is Greener then ever! My technician Carlos is one great youngster. He takes his time as if my lawn is his own. I appreciate that he answers all questions i have about the process being done. Also Miss Stephanie is very helpful when i call up and ask any questions i have! Highly recommend this company to my friends and neighbors! Keep up the great work up!

They treated my lawn with weed control and the treatment killed my grass. They promised to replace the sod a month ago. I have called and they keep promising to replace the sod but have not. I have asked for them to keep me updated on the status of the sod install, but all I get is the run away. This type of customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend them at all.
