  This was my favorite Home Depot until yesterday. I came in 2-6-2022 and ran across a really nice vanity that I wanted to purchase. It was on sale for 179.99 I took the printed tag off the box and purchased it at the customer service counter and informed them I would be back to pick it up the following Sunday 2-13-2022. When I arrived to pick it up I noticed that the vanity had been marked down again to 129.99. When I approached customer service to pick up my original order I asked if they could adjust the price of the vanity to the new price that is displayed and also purchase a secondary vanity. They told me it would be easier to give me a gift card instead of a return my whole purchase so I wouldn’t have to have 3 charges on my account. No problem. I received a store credit and and pay for the rest by credit card and take my original vanity purchase home. Yesterday I get a call from the store stating that my order was cancelled and that I need to come into the store to pick up my gift card. I am highly confused at this point because there was no explanation behind the reason of cancellation. I called the corporate office today and they are also no help, between contacting the store and being on a 3 way call I learned the following; the store screwed up by not charging me for a physical item but making my purchase an online order instead, customer service asks me, “So what do you want, an apology”, when you buy things they don’t hold them for you it’s still a first come first serve basis, they don’t right their wrongs, at the end of it all you’ll be the one that suffers from these wrongdoings and nobody cares. No worries I’ll shop somewhere else going forward but the real corporation will still here about this.

  Well huh the Team in store is good. The outside contractors need some changes. Inconsistent is particularly the downfall. I truly had a great design experience with Jay in kitchen counters and appliances, he is a solid ,excellent guy.

  I brought my 4 1/2 month old puppy to do some training and exposure and all the employees were SO RESPECTFUL of our space! They were so polite and didn’t try to distract my pup at all but admired him from a distance.
