  Mixed opinions on this company. They serviced my lawn in 2011 and I had a positive experience with their lawn service. I got their renewal notice in the spring and decided not to renew due to other circumstances. In April I got an invoice for service that I did not approve and called /emailed that they made a mistake. Over the next couple of months, I decided I would return to their service in 2013. This is where they fell flat on their face. They sent me another invoice in July and I initiated another call. They told me I would have to pay as they automatically renew the service with no approval of the customer. What a wonderful world they live in where they think they can do something and send an invoice without the customer requesting it. As he continued to try and justify the actions I told them I would not pay and he eventually "verbally" gave up. Bottom line is they do good lawn service, but as other reviewers pointed out their sales tactics are not how I would expect to treat a customer...... and by the way, they are another home service that somehow stays in business with the line "we don't typically email". Needless to say, I won't be returning in 2013.

  UPDATE - March 2017 I gave this company an opportunity to correct their past poor performance. Kevin B called me and was to ensure my account was taken care of. He was going to provide me the plan to correct my lawn in Feb and start applications. I followed up with Kevin in mid March only to get more excuses. He said he was going to send me something 2 weeks ago and follow up with me. This has not happened. This company is flawed on multiple levels including their management. Fall 2016 RUN AWAY FROM Green T Lawn Care as FAST as you CAN!!! Do NOT waste your time or money with this company. Horrible service in which they just dump stuff on your lawn and run from the problems. Details below why you should not use them........ I have been sadly an unhappy customer of Green T for 4 years now. Green T usually sends out un experienced young adults to dump stuff on your lawn and then run. Then getting them back out to resolve the issue takes a another 7-15 days or more. Common sense things when applying fertilizer like - -Keeping out of my pool -Keeping off my kids play set -Blowing it off the sidewalk when finished --- is beyond them. They do things like use a big motorized fertilizer spreader on our lawn when the ground is soft and leave ruts/tracks your yard. Then I call and say ... probably not a good idea to do that...why you stop that. I have had them leave notes on my door saying "the reason my grass is blotchy and not all green is because in the spring the grass puts up seeds and that is causing your grass to look uneven" after I complained of how the grass is not coming in evenly in June. I have several conversations with managers that lead to more frustration and no action. My latest go around with them is in regards to the fall aeration in which the "B Team" they they always send over did a bad job on half of my lawn, the part bad part of my in which Green T caused fungus problems, and killed the grass, again this year, and failed to aerate adequately in those areas. After several phone calls they arrived out again only to leave a not on the door saying all was fine and that the aeration was done properly. The tech put this note on my front door, in which doing so he walked right past the bare spots with no grass and holes in it.... again... right past the problem areas in my lawn. This is only the surface of what you deal when Green T does your lawn. I could go on and on about such poor service and conversations I have had with them..... I wanted to give 0 stars but google does support it. thanks for reading the blog :)

  I don’t recommend this company. Last year I had weeds constantly and told them I was done. They called and asked me to give them one more year. Despite the fact that I had to call them back several times last year because no weeds were dieing, I allowed myself to fall for the “it was the weather” story. This year-same thing. I have called them back twice. Still-I have weeds in my yard now that I never had before in the 16 years I’ve lived here. Paid them and still bought my own weed killer. Ridiculous. Either they really have NO idea what they are doing or they just don’t care to do the job they were paid for. Green T-that’s funny since I have the last invoice you left me after NOT killing the weeds again with your company name, address and phone number. I told you to take me off your list when I paid this bill, so sounds like you may have done something right. Thanks
