  This is honestly my favorite store and restaurant in Shenandoah County. I am gluten free and I love their gluten free options. They have sandwiches, salads, baked goods, soups, and frittatas that are gluten free. I have been a customer for years. I love the library area they created. Last time I visited I bought a stack of books from the gently loved book selection. I love how the proceeds from that section go to the local schools to buy books for the libraries. I am also a plant lover and enjoy their selection of house plants. It’s a great place to visit. I highly recommend.

  I get a lot of my plants at Fort Valley every year and every year they have the selection I need. Their staff is great and ready to help no matter the project. I always ask questions about the plants, where they should go, etc. and they are always willing to help me. I've also purchased some trees and shrubs here and they were so helpful in getting the right one and finding a place to plant it.

  The Fort Valley Nursery Garden Centers offers many reasons for you to visit - the general atmosphere, trees & shrubs, garden statuary, a gift shop, and a wonderful cafe. I've experienced many of these. It's truly a delightful place to wander about! But I want to add the most important aspect of doing business with them - their customer service. I spent several weeks searching a 4-state region trying to find someone who could help me order a specific fountain for our church in Lynchburg. Fort Valley GC was the only one interested and actually able to assist me. Once the order was placed it took several months for delivery, but John Fogle kept me informed throughout that period. That's probably just "basic" customer service for John. He really stepped up when, as we were assembling the fountain, we found a quality control issue with several sections of the its base. John worked as an intermediary to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. He will continue to have our business whenever needed. Thanks John!!! JRM
