  This guy was horrible to me on the phone! I called and he answered the phone "hello?" not Lonas Lawn, not in a professional manner. I wasn't sure if I got a wrong number. I asked "is this the lawn service?" and he said to me "who are you?" I asked again, "is this the lawn service?" and he hung up on me. The devil in me called him back and told him I needed a lawn service and he was really ugly, gruff, uncooperative. Finally, I said to him "you know what? You're just to ugly, I'll get someone else." But, I didn't even get to finish my sentence before he hung up on me again. Now, in all fairness, I called him from my work phone and later I remembered that for the confidentiality of our clients, our caller ID is blocked. He may have thought I was a scammer. But, come on business owners, if you're going to use your personal cell phone for your business, you're going to need to treat everybody who calls professionally until you figure out otherwise. Legitimate folks also sometimes have their phone numbers blocked. Give folks the chance to explain who they are before you assume that the person on the other end is a nefarious character and you treat them poorly. Because this guy did assume I was not legitimate and treated me thusly, he lost my business...and hopefully yours.
