I guess the store is remodeling so the signs didn't help the aisle signs were wrong I finally found what I was looking for at the back of the store as usual no Associates around to ask for help and the self checkout was setup horrible. We got in long line for self checkout and waited for our turn just to find out there was a small line where customers were getting check out before we were and the self checkout Associates were help them first when we were there first. That was unbelievable who train these Associates there were 4 of them all lost. Your customer service  needs alot of work. Maybe train your team leads better. So Disappointing 😞

Being in a big truck, we really appreciate being able to park the truck and shop without worrying if the truck will be booted or towed. Although it was small, it had everything we needed and people were very friendly. Thank you!

Love this Walmart the door greater is  so very nice and don’t miss a person going in and out with her not just smiling but she greats you directly and she’s a day shift worker so we only go if she’s working cause she’s the first good thing we love when we go to this Walmart. And the store could use more space and it’s kinda put together differently than all the others I’ve shopped at . So I get confused. But clean and always got new products.

At least three truck parking spaces here!  Wow! Congratulations Walmart.. that's American like.. help truck drivers shop and have a safe place to park.. How did this get accomplished?  We need many more Walmart Stores to follow your lead.. Truck Drivers are people too.. with needs.. they are responsible for Walmart success.. it's the least you can do while truck drivers continue to service the needs of 🇺🇸 America.. they need your support.. like 1 quarter of an acre devoted to safe parking truck drivers would help.

Friendly staff. Had a decent selection of food available. Plenty of truck parking so please Drivers keep it clean and out your carts back! We need more Walmart locations like this to help us save money and eat better than the trucks stops. Definitely a regular stop for me now.

The staff are all lovely,  helpful people. I still haven't figured out where everything is found, but I can find everything I need for the most part. The aisle letters are weird sometimes,  like Aisle I is on the other side of the store from G and H. It is by the food. Aisle I is detergent and cleaning stuff.

They only have two people cashiers. They had a person looking at receipts that couldn't read told me I didn't pay for so look at and I see everything. Show  someone else and leave. They do have lots of self check outs.

Extremely crowded. Bustle n hustle at this location.  Door watch employees are kind enough to get an electric cart if none are at the entrance you come in. Well stocked. Produce looks decent.

Good stop for truck drivers to reload supplies. Selection isn't the best for all items but it is a small town location. Can park overnight but space is limited...probably 7 or 8 trucks comfortably. Keep it clean and put your carts back when you finish shopping. Need these places to help us keep rolling.

Mud sized wal mart. But they allow truckers too park and shop there, which is cool. Easy on and off from interstate 40. Employees nice and polite. Store very clean.

Stopped here many times to restock food and other supplies for the road. And just stretch the legs. Easy excess to I 40. Truck parking is allowed, but limited. Seems like it would be quite, but I never actually stayed the night.

WOW!  Rude employees!   Super disappointed in the staff at the store.  They seem to feel that my being there was an interruption to their day and not the purpose of it.  I went there hoping to find som vegetarian options.  I was pleasantly surprised at the selection available to me.  Not enough staff in the store to be of any assistsnce.

I could find everything very easily it is a smaller Walmart with one entrance. Their checkouts are all self checkouts except for a few assisted ones. I only had to stand and wait a couple minutes and I went in there a couple times and each time it was very fast.

Always to many people would be nice if they built another one here in Gallup . can never find anything family needs have to drive to Grant's, or Albuquerque. And the people are so rude .

Great little find for us. If you need a quick stop for a few items look no further. We're traveling along toward the west and found this little gem. It is nicely organized and clean. The Walmart stores in my home state are not as well put together. KUDOS!

Wal-Mart on course is best one if you need help there is always someone willing to help you look for items you are looking for.walmart on San Mateo have better pricing and great deals

Brand new deli with so much potential and the employees that were working it on 9-22-21 at 1:30 pm do not care get rid of people that kill your business there are people looking for work that would do a far better job the 2 girls in there today lost your store business not only from me but folks behind me and everyone we talk to

The first of the two young ladies at the customer service desk we had helping us was very rude, condescending and more interested in what other coworkers were doing than in helping us. The second one at least showed a moderate interest but when the transaction would not go through, she was at a loss as to what she should do. Knowing who to call when Western Unoin issues happen are part of you job, not telling customers that we cannot call anyone for help.

For the hole-in-the-wall town that Grants is, this is a pretty decent Wal-Mart. I, for one, don't have any problems with them putting SCO in versus a whole front end of checkstands. People need to understand that this is the direction that grocery stores of the 21st century are headed and SCO is not going away.

Need to update your website it said the Xmas lights were in stock and I drive into grants to get some and there was nothing ...could have went into ABQ instead!!!

Ready like the older, mature mechanics who really know how to do the work in AUTO instead of the youngsters who don't even know how change a dually truck tire! Remember to ask the right questions  and ask if they have the best tools to do the work.

With the new remodel, stuffing top much in the same area. Everyone I spoke too Very disappointed. Most isles not even wide enough for 2 carts. Merchandise has not change, same for ten years . need upgrade in so many departments. We might live in the sticks but we really r pretty smart!

I only go to Walmart for certain items, the place is not crowded on a week day.

Pharmacy is always great and kind and courteous there are several workers that do greed you and ask you if they can help you find something they're awesome

Very nice location. The store was neat and clean. Bathroom could use a little attention. Didn't find exactly what I was looking for but able to make due. Courteous staff.

There were only 2 stalls 1 reg. & 1 handicap in the front bathroom. But the handicap stall was out of order. I'm about to have my knees replaced & handicap toilets are usually higher. It is very painful to have to sit on a low stool & painful to stand up. 3- or 4 people gave up & left. Very dissapointed. Functioning CLEAN bathrooms are very IMPORTANT!!!!!

The store is pretty clean, well stocked and organized.  The only issue I have is they allow shoppers with a full basket of grocery items check out at the self check kiosks! This area should allow maybe 10 items or less.  They slow down the whole process.

The fact that there is no check out cashier's makes it ridiculous. The employees watch you self check out. The fact that you have to self check out makes them watch what you are paying for. It makes it seem like they are watching you to see if your going to not pay for something. Almost stealing is. How it feels. I'm not impressed with the the check out system

I love our little small town Wal-Mart the staff are always so nice sweet and helpful to my and I whenever we come in the store. They are usually cheaper priced than the Albuquerque locations. And I absolutely love the clearance section!

The deal of removing the checkout registers and putting in self checkout with 2 entry points only had to have been designed by a complete wackadoodle, because the idea of taking 30 or more people wanting to hurry up and cash out and go into 2 lines was the dumbest idea yet. I may stop buying any food products here and just purchase things I can't find somewhere else in town. The genius behind this must be laughing all the way to the bank

For a remote location they were adequately stocked including fresh fruit. Pricing a little steep.

I totally hate the all self checkout deal. This is totally unnecessary and , Did anyone think about the elders and the disabled that have a hard time shopping? I don't think so. You should've just added more cashiers that would've been soo much better and much more helpful!!!!

We were traveling to Auburn Indianaand we stopped at We went into the store around 6:00am. There was some pieces of trash scattered on the floor. We were welcomed into their store. I went to the bathroom. He went to the sweets. In the bathroom there was 2 stalls total, 1 was not able to be used. Fortunately the store wasnt busy. We were very impressed with the longer scales they were deffinately more accommidating. Thank you walmart for continuously trying to be helpful to the public.

I wouldn't shop here but there isn't much in Grants. Got to admit the cash the day I was there was wonderful. I havent been shopping by myself in almost a full year... and I shouldn't have done this one but my cashier brightened my quickly dismal day. I cant say bad but I couldn't find things so had to walk around till I found what I needed.. I know they have to move things so cant be mad about that. Next time I will use the motorized carts so I can enjoy my out on the community time more frequently.

Stopped here several times over the last decade during various road trips. Always well stocked, always friendly staff, always great. Just maybe add a sign where to turn off the main road lol.

Good place to stop for home necessities, go in for one thing, come out with 20 other things!

It’s unbelievable that I called 2 Walmart stores and neither one answered the phone . I even tried a certain department and they didn’t answer either. It rang about 30 times! Gallup,NM and Grants, NM stores at 0900 am on Friday May 28th.

This store seems small compared to the supercenter at home. But I found what I needed, stood in a short line, and got back on the road in less time than it usually takes to get into the larger store.

So they got rid of all but two cashier's and now the wait is ridiculous to check out. Everyone is clumped around each other and there is no room for social distancing. They are also re organizing so no big deal there, you just gotta play where's Waldo with what you need every week. Things definitely went faster when we actually had cashier's. I'll just go to Albuquerque for now on to shop. Definitely not the walmarts there either. Also y'all won't let me make an account because my name isn't "valid" so there's that as well. The people working here are amazing though, very kind and always helping!

Its a clean, very sizeable Walmart with just about everything you might need and then some, for awhile now Ive been trying to find Thomas and Friends items, but every walmart ive been to they don't even carry it, but finally this store actually had some thomas stuff at a good price! This walmart might not have the most extensive selection of items, but its got pretty much anything you need!

Even with the pandemic the Wal-Mart in Grants,NM is always clean & the folks are polite. They are more then willing to stop whatever they're doing to help you if you ask. And checkout lines go very quickly if the store is very,

This store must be in the process of renovation.
Besides of the construction work... it was somewhat easy to find needed items. Biggest problem was they only had one full service checkout. I had to wait in line for 50 minutes because I had some bananas.🤔😳😂

Totally okay to park for the night for RVs and Semi's ...but shopping was a different story...
Was followed around store when shopping in Walmart....twice!!  I felt so uncomfortable in this store...a man following me through the food dept.. Next time a woman...in clothing dept...not taking her eyes off me until I stared back at her and she disappeared...I just walked out.... wouldn't ever shop here again!!

Never going back to this Walmart. Takes forever to get checked out and the cahiers are slow. After I got home and looked at my receipt, found I was charged twice for 3 items. There was no checker in the garden center. The staff needs training in a big way.

My favorite spot to shop atthat location. In and out and gone. Fast and simple and allow truck parking. Hope they keep it clean before they banned trucks coming there

It's Walmart. Location is fairly easy to navigate. Selection of products varies from mediocre to fair. The vibe gets set the moment you are greeted. Small but efficient for the basic needs as well as the occasional splurge... when product is available.

The only thing I was not happy with was the deli we bought a routisserie Chicken and it was not cooked throughly

I spent around $350 here the day I stopped on my way home, over 21 hours away. A cashier rang up my items (did not use self check out). When I was about 2 hours from the store, I discovered a missing item around the cost of $10. I called the store and the paid-for/listed on my receipt item had indeed been left behind/not added to my cart. GORDAN, the manager I spoke with, said it is not Walmart’s policy to do anything except have me come back to the store to pick up the item. No refund allowed on my credit card (even though that found the item that had been left), no mailing me a check when everything was processed, nothing but the store’s policy. I explained I could not come back due to the distance I’d traveled and direction I was heading. I asked for an exception given the circumstances. He repeated the policy like a parrot. I asked what he would do if he was in my situation. His response? “I wouldn’t have left it at the store!” This I would understand if I had done self check out. Not funny coming from a store manager with no empathy for my situation.

I dont like the self check out at all. We shop once a month coz we live out in the country and our order was large. The prices are up and the selection has been scaled way back. Guess ill have to go elsewhere.

Ripped me off of 3 hours from my paycheck and can’t even get ahold of them because they don’t answer the phone. I’m expected to get MY MONEY back from the company but they don’t even cooperate. I got terminated almost 2 months ago. Ridiculous that I didn’t get the money I deserve because hr was gone for ten days and I now live in Arizona.

It a good place to shop because it has mostly everything under one roof but the reason for 4 stars is they really need to get a handle on your staff customer service approach to your customers. Have them smile and  knowledgeable about the products in the store they work with day in and out. Maybe have a model on how they can be more courteous to the millions of customers that come in to your store.

Since they remodeled, finding stuff you need is like going through a maze. And I think it's ridiculous it's all self check out, especially for handicap and the elderly. Better off going to Smith's or John Brooks.

Always a good experience there. Great people,  I can park my Semi. Load my truck with everything.  Hit the road.

I love this place, no qaiting in line. I never liked self check out, most all the the lines are open. No waiting in line

Its so clean!!! Not like gallup walmart. These guys wipe down everything  after someone is done using the registers, carts and so much more. I love it. Keep up the great work Walmart (Grants).

The prices are high and now you have to check yourself out.  We should be given a discount for being a cashier.  I go to this store because of the wonderful staff in the pharmacy.
