  We received excellent service for our push lawnmower from Vermont Small Engine. Owner Chris came to our house to assess the repairs needed and then, as he promised, returned once the parts were in to complete the repairs and have our mower ready for the spring/summer. I appreciated Chris' skills as well as his professionalism, friendliness, and integrity in both his assessment of our mower and follow-up billing. We will definitely call Vermont Small Engine again for any lawnmower and/or snowblower needs we have.

  I was ready to give Chris my 20+ yr old snowblower for parts. The machine was seized. Chris decided to take a look anyway. That was the end of last season so never got a chance to use it. Went out to start it for the first good snowfall this year, and it started on the first pull and ran like a champ. I would trust Chris with any of my engine needs. He is an honest and capable mechanic and just an overall good guy.

  Chris diagnosed my snowblower problem and was able to repair it quickly. He is easy to work with. Having the work done at my house was very convenient and avoided all the hassle of transporting the snowblower. He really knows small engines!
