I started using TruGreen in July after having sod installed early May. My grass was beautiful and full minus a spot. That’s when I called Trugreen to start their service so my grass would stay full and healthy. I have expressed my concerns since then and kept getting brushed off, now my grass is practically dead. I’m very frustrated at this point. I’m paying to have a nice green lawn and instead it’s dead. Doesn’t look like it’s even treated.

Unfortunately, I have not been with the company long enough to know how my lawn will turn out, however…. I have been trying to straighten out my bill, making 4 phone calls each lasting 1 hour and transferred once, making a total of 5 people who could not help. I am tired of dealing with scripted people that say a bunch of stuff they don’t really mean. (You know, things like, “I understand” and “I’m happy to help you” over and over again.) I signed up for a year long plan that was suppose to be “equal pay”. I called them (because it was spring and my lawn desperately needed reseeding, which was part of my plan) and they agreed to come and reseed my yard my first month into the plan, even thought they said they usually didn’t do it till fall. They came and reseeded and then charged me $195. No where near the $53.00 / month. They charged me $26 dollars for my first month (half off for first month). After calling 4 times, still no resolution. Also, each person I talked to gave me a different answer about what was going on. I had a hard time understanding the people on the phone because they had heavy accents. As soon as I gave the my information (again) for equal pay, they billed it for the whole amount $221. (I really owe $26 + $53 = $78). I don’t mind people making mistakes, but I do mind getting a lot of lip service, but no results. I hope you have a better experience that I have. (I really wanted this service, but it has been to stressful dealing with the billing.)

The service gets rid of the weeds. The HOA fines you for weeds. It sure is worth it for me not to get down on my knees and start digging up the weeds. Customer service is excellent!
