This is the second time I have had services with them. The first year was 2020, and they failed to properly treat for the mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks. We had issues with all of those things the entire season. The next year's rolls around after I canceled services and they had been coming onto my property and treating, which caused my dog to lose her fur! They did finally cancel and not charge me for the unauthorized services. So this year I hired them to treat my lawn for weeds and fertilize as well as the bug package. They have been here 3 times now and still not treated my back yard the weeks are out of control! In both the front and back yard. I can't let me kids play in my yard because of the crabgrass! They are supposed to be gone! I'm super frustrated and do not have the money to be paying someone to not do their job! This year when I called them, I spoke with someone and told them I would think on it and get back to them because I didn't know if I could afford the price I was quoted. Within 5 or 10 minutes of that phone call the same guy called me back and pressured me into it. I will be calling them tomorrow and asking for a refund and canceling services.

So far the service had been fine, in fact it was good enough that I added a second home to my account. However I wanted to change the service being provided for that home and that's when things fell apart. I just want to make a change but can't get it done. I've called multiple numbers provided online but they all route you to a call center and the wait was 1-2 hours. Not acceptable. I finally tracked down the local number (Springfield, MO) and was told by Amber(?) that she couldn't help me and that she would have to either route me to the same customer service desk or I could go online to their website. I had another unrelated question but before I could finish asking she cut me off and said she couldn't help. Not even knowing what I was going to ask. EXTREMELY rude and poor customer service. So now, when I FINALLY get in touch with someone, I'm going to cancel the service on both homes (several hundred $'s worth) and find a company that understands that service doesn't stop at the lawn, customer service matters too. Especially in today's economy. Thanks Amber for letting me know how your company truly operates so I can move on.

Wish I would have read the reviews (especially those on BBB) before paying this company any money. It seems my problem is a common one: technician comes to the house, sits in the truck for a few minutes, puts a receipt on the doorknob saying the job is done, and then drives off without doing anything. I personally witnessed this happen and have made several complaints to no avail. Ended up just cancelling my service and taking the $100+ loss as the request for a refund has been met with nothing but silence. Life lesson learned: steer clear from TruGreen.
