Great local Ace hardware store! Super helpful employees who are always friendly, welcoming and willing to assist. I called about buying a $1200 snowblower from here. I was told there's a $25 assembly charge that includes putting it together, adding oil and gas, and making sure it runs properly.  That seemed excessive. We don't buy a car and pay extra for them to put it together, add oil and gas, and make sure it works. I looked online and the assembly was $15 so I went that route. Well they put less than a quarter of a tank in, just enough gas in to get it to run. Considering it's only about a gallon tank and gas is about $3/gal I guess I came out ahead but that seems awfully petty.

Despite this experience, the employees had always been attentive and helpful in the past which is why I went 4 stars instead of 3.

So first time in here n let's just say it was not what I expected after reading the reviews. First no greetings (not big deal just wanted to mention it) then help had to be called twice and I was pretty specific on what I needed. I said an Allen wrench. I said I have the black pegs or whatever I just needed something to put them in so I can turn them (my hands and arms keep going numb so gripping stuff is not easy) well at first the guy seem helpful then he goes in the back with two little pipes and says these should help. No they're useless. Now I can't take apart my kitchen table and complete the rearranging of my kitchen unless I catch a bus to another store. I knew as soon as I saw what he gave me it was not what I was looking for however I bit my tongue and left. Maybe cause I'm a woman don't know if that's y he gave them instead of what I needed not sure

Rylee and Tim were extremely helpful tonight with a project I was working on!! Tim was super kind and respectful and was even willing to come out to my pickup and crawl underneath to figure out what kind of part I needed.....super patient and friendly, both of em! Makes you think they like what they do :)

I try to shop locally, but these guys are always a bad experience. Today I waited to simply ask how much an item was because it wasn't marked from 2 different employees, both of whom were two consumed in different conversations with other employees to actually acknowledge me. One of them was sadly Alex Knight who spent 5 minutes talking to someone about a door they were installing in the store. I didn't recognize the other. As I was leaving Mark Tomchek asked if I needed help, but I had already been too annoyed. I actually get better service at Menard's which is really saying something.

There is a older gentleman named Mark. As soon as I walked in to get a spare key made mark jumped right on it. Me and Mark both learned a little bit about keys with chips in them. Mark was very very helpful and very friendly and outstanding customer service. He wasn't able to help me with how my car key is. Thats completely fine. This is all new to me as well. And Mark shook my hand and said he was sorry he couldn't be more help and said good luck and told me where else to go. Mark has outstanding customer service. Idk where you guys found this guy. But don't let him quit lol he's very professional and very nice. I definitely will be back in the future. Before and as Mark was helping me everyone else who works at this location was super friendly and nice by saying good morning and smiling and asking how I was doing as they passed by. I really like the professionalism and how awesome everyone is at this location. Very impressive. Thank you. Much appreciated
