I contacted Collen at PTS to replace some rotting fence posts, I was impressed with the time of response and action.  Paul came out and believed 2 posts maybe 3 would need repair. I said I’d rather be proactive have 3 done.  From my before and after photos, you can tell they only replaced 2 and thankful they did not do a 3rd due to how they left the area.  All the plants near the posts are gone, not even left for me to replant them and you can see how now the top of the fence is not even close to being level.  I contacted Colleen about the my disappointed in the job along with the photos.  She said she would show them to Paul and the team. Have not heard a word!!  I will change the review if I see fit, otherwise hire at your own risk.

Hi Jim,  thank you for your feedback.  I'm sorry we weren't able to get out to fix the problem right away (we typically do!).  I'm glad Paul was able to direct the team BACK to the work site to fix the problem.  Mistakes happen - I wish we were immune.  Thanks for giving us a second chance to make it right. I needed a simple fence put up quickly before the ground froze for the winter.  Paul got out to my house quickly, Colleen put a rush on Digger's Hotline, and the crew put up the fence just 4 days after my first call.  It looks great.  The guys were careful about our plants in the area as well as the overall aesthetic, carefully moving a bush and removing some overgrowth that would have pushed on the fence.  I'm so happy with their work I'll likely call them again in the spring to fence an even bigger area.

I highly recommend Paul Terry Services, LLC for lawn care services.   They are very friendly and do a great job. AND, they were the only service from 5 that I called who would do an emergency one-off mow. All the other services wanted long-term contracts only. So, if your long-term service is a no-show, like mine, or if your mower breaks down call Paul Terry Services!

Terrible service. Don't use this company. They said they would shovel our sidewalk, but each time it snowed they had an excuse as to why they never did anything. I was still charged $25.00!! Super rip off!! And now they even have the nerve to say they did their best!! Let me tell you, their best is what most would call extremely poor business practice. Don't use this company!!!

Hi Rose - thanks for the candid review.  We appreciate the comment; even if it hurts. Our goal is to make sure customers aren't paying if they don't have to.  Let me explain:  our team stopped by to shovel for your (as you requested) but a neighbor had already done it.  Instead of our charging you to shovel more/again, we opted to save you the $ and only charge you for the non-productive visit fee (a fee we explain to our customers is required if the lot has already been done before we get there).  We agree, it's no fun paying for something you didn't get - but you DID GET our team to arrive at the door prepared to shovel.  There is a cost for that, unfortunately.  In our case it's $25.  Sorry it didn't work out for you.  We hope you find someone to take care of all your snow plow and/or shoveling.  We did our best.

Colleen is very personable in the business office and strives to make their customers satisfied.  Will installed a fire pit and did yard work. Very pleased with both of the jobs. Will selected the design and I couldn't be happier. And in regards to the yard work Will came up with a better plan that saved me money. Thank you PTS, Debbie P.

Undoubtedly the worst company to work for in Wisconsin. The poor leadership and lack of communication set the bar low for customer. They will throw your name in the dirt without proof and withhold paychecks illegally. Please do your research and look into the BBB before you even think of doing business with this company as it will be noted soon that they slander people's names and threaten to without pay from employees without communication.

Previous employer as of today when I made the decision to leave and now have to sue them for pay!

Paul Terry Services removed a very large tree limb at a very reasonable price with speed, and efficiency. Very pleased with concern by everyone at the company for my misfortune. With the exception of a tree scar, one would not know I had the limb come down in my yard. They also helped save another crabapple tree that broke the fall of the 30 ft. Limb. Thanks for a great job. I highly recommend. Super guys.

I would not recommend this service. Service was completed 2 weeks later than scheduled. No communication, had to continuously follow up with them. Needed garden edging redone, they cut the edges a foot away from original edge and did not remove the remaining grass or weeds in the beds. I had to redo all the work myself.

Dear Paige - thanks for your comments.  We make several attempts to reach our customers if service is delayed for ANY reason.  Please reach out to our office to discuss your specific concerns, and know that we will do whatever it takes to make sure your expectations are exceeded.

Lesson learned --orginal message--  Very friendly on the phone, but they haven't shown up to mow the yard.  Rainy weather in forecasts but plenty of opportunity to mow over 1.5 week time frame and scheduled 2 weeks before that.  Neighbors have mowed their lawns twice.  I keep waiting since PTS phone response is always 'maybe today or tomorrow'.  I hindsight I should have mowed our yard myself, but now the lawn is too long and I had purchased a Groupon to use.  Not sure what is going on.

Dear Mr. Sumner - we apologize for this unintended delay due to significant rain (and snow!) on and off this entire month.  We are processing your refund through Groupon and apologize again for the inconvenience.

PTS has great customer service but questionable actual service

There may be a group of plow happy strangers randomly doing bad snow removals in New Berlin. (Because PTS are now questioning if they even did the work?). There may be a PTS driver who is still lost in the snow, unable to communicate with the office (because PTS says they would talk to the driver about the work and get back to me.. im still waiting on that) PTS may change the website after you agree to service and they don’t feel like following what the website says (website said they would plow within 24 hours- when it wasn’t done and I called them on it they changed the website). A driveway full of snow may be too difficult for PTS to plow- they might mistake it for ice ( was told they may not have been able to plow do to ice- even though my driveway was clear before the snow) and if PTS does come out and cannot plow for real or make believe reasons, expect to pay $25 for nothing.
And if you post or question anything about their service on social media, expect to get an email from them asking you (in a very happy, like they are your friend way) to take down the post.

the first time they came it was great.. second time.. well don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Aryn - we are aware of your experience but must confirm that PTS did NOT perform the service you are writing about...I hope the mix-up is settled at some point in the future with the correct person/company.
