  Went to no less than 5 different furniture stores Saturday looking for a new couch and kitchen table and chairs. I am so tired of getting excuses from them about what they can’t do and what they can’t order I was ready to give up. My husband needed to pick up something from Menards so we stopped in there. SURPRISE Menards had a Lane Brand sectional couch that was the correct color,size and fabric that we were looking for. Two left in the store! So we purchased it. The price was between $500.00-$700.00 less than all the furniture stores and as a bonus we got two area rugs with the couch. The Extra Extra Bonus was the 11%rebate we get for filling out and sending in the rebate form for the couch. Now to give credit to the exceptional Menards Associate, Ray, he had to deal with a tired, angry and disappointed because of all the negative salesperson at the regular furniture store, customer-Me. I don’t think I have ever been so surprised as I was this shopping trip to hear so many “Yes” and “this is what Menards can do for you” as I was Saturday. We did not have to take the couch with us and are able to set up a pickup time of our choosing. Ray thank you so much for your positive attitude and help!!!

  One thing is true here, if you want to save big money, you shop Menards. After years of hearing the jingle, I finally made it into one- this one is so new, the Google imagery hasn’t even shown it yet. It’s like Lowe’s-meets-Big Lots, with may regional and local products. What surprised me most was the food products in what I thought was a hardware store. Loved the walleye steaks, truly Midwest. Likely, if you need something, anything, the ‘Nards has got it. Highly recommend, cheers.

  1st time in about a year I have been to this Menards, they had what I needed and most of the employees I encountered was friendly is the only good thing I can say. Had to find someone to help me get my major purchase as it was not on the floor and it still took a bit of time, they could not answer my questions about the product or if all the parts where included for installation so i may have more than I needed since I purchased a few things just to make sure I didn't have to go back. The cashier was not able to answer my questions about the 6 months same as cash on my new Menards card. Most of the employees do not seem very knowledgeable about the products or the areas they are assigned to work in. I believe a bit more training would benefit all.
