Ooof. Spent 2 hours here today. Spoke to 4 employees. First one couldn't take the time to show me exactly where a product was I was looking for and merely pointed in a direction and said "that way." Great. I spent 30 minutes reading every little label looking for what I needed. Later, I was essentially reprimanded by a cashier for not knowing I needed to pay for an item before leaving a certain section of the store. Another employee *literally* grunted at me and didn't make eye contact with me when I asked her the simplest of questions: "Can I leave this with you at checkout for 15 seconds to grab an item in the next aisle over?" (I was checking out). And the 4th employee was actually incredibly helpful in helping me pick out a power tool I was looking for. I gave this Lowes a try because I live far from Home Depot. Sorry to say, I'll be making the commute to Home Depot again after an incredibly disappointing and UNFRIENDLY experience at Lowe's on Bayshore.

If you're in the Trades, or just a do-it'yourselfer, you'll find what you need at any Lowe's you go into. Being a Maintenance Man, and working with tools, building materials day in and day out, I can walk around a place like Lowe's all day just looking and be perfectly happy... it's like Disneyland for someone who loves tools and what you can do with them.

Three people behind the counter standing around talking for 5 minutes with customers in line. They know they are in the public eye, too. I sense they are trying to improve more recently, but they still fall back on their old ways. I got a special order SHIPPED March 4, they say they got the package March 10. I got no call and had to call twice and speak to four different reps. On March 12,One said I had an estimate but no package and then she transferred me to some one else. Ridiculous.
