Anyone who gave this place more than 2 stars IMO is a shill. I was treated better by the staff when I was in the county jail. There a few good personal who will go out of their way to help you. But in general IMO their biggest problem is the high staff turnover which leads employees not trained well enough who could care less. Their employment is literally measured in days. Whatever you do don't try and call to see if I am not being truthful. You will get connected to the garden DEPT.

We went to buy lumber, fence posts, and tools. We spent several hundred dollars. My husband ordered ahead and was told to call when we were on our way. We called when we were about a mile away, and it was not answered by a live operator. We were then asked what our parking space number was. We could not answer as we were on our way. When we got there, we called again and were finally instructed by a live operator.  We then had to move our vehicle over to the loading area. It was very frustrating.  I don't think that we will pre-order again.

I went to lowes tonight 2-4-22 to pick up a few items to finish up a small office with a little bit of drywall work left. I found the items I was needing without being asked for help but here is we’re it went south fast and I will no longer be returning. I went to the register with an older lady to check out. She rung up the prices and I told her I had a military account. After showing my Military ID and giving her my phone number 8 times that is on file and her keep saying I wasn’t in the system I finally told her I would go elsewhere. I really wish Home Depot would come to Athens. I’m constantly in Lowes and constantly give the phone number and I’m always found. Lowes needs to update their system and make it easier for their people to run these cash registers. I won’t be returning

0 stars.  Store manager needs to get with the program on running a fully efficient store!!!!!    Terrible   Don’t waste your time at this location.  Or lowes for that matter      I Drove 45 minutes one way. to get a tow hitch that I needed for the next day.   Called to confirm availability. The lady said yes we have 6 in stock.  I repeated the item number and description to make sure we were looking at the same product. She replied “ yes that’s what I said “  so I made the trip.  Get to the store and can’t find them.  I get help from 3 associates nobody can locate the 6 available items. Then one of the associates looks at her co
Outer and says wow the last time we received them was august of last year…..     so they lowes system is jacked. Not current with product availability or current stock whatsoever.  Wasted fuel and time  very disappointed      And as far as the snooty associate that confirmed the availability. Her attitude matches the lowes quality 110%

I picked up a set of blades for my lawn mower. I ordered online for store pickup. When I arrived. I was in and out of the store in a matter of minutes. Real good service.

Ordered amd paid for components for shower re-do two plus weeks ago. Was told yesterday that all parts had arrived in store and would be put together for pick up today. As of this morning, components had not been pulled from inventory--why had it not been bundled with our name on bundlr?- because no one had purchased them. What the...?

This location has some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. First, it's almost impossible to get someone to help you, and when they do, the first thing they say is that they are sorry but it's not their department. My husband and I are totally remodeling our home from the roof to the basement. Every single thing we have had done through this Lowe's has been a problem. From getting lumber delivered, to buying doors, windows, bathroom vanities and NOW carpet is a nightmare. It takes 5 to 6 trips to this place (and multiple phone calls) to get results. I guess I will be driving the extra miles to Home Depot for the rest of our projects.

I just want to take a moment to recognize a wonderful employee "RANDY HOLZER". My husband and I are replacing our shower, and we had never done anything like this before nor did we know everything we needed and this gentleman took his time not only Monday night but also this morning to help us with no complaint nor did he have a bad attitude which unfortunately we deal with alot these days. But he helped us get every single thing we needed on our list and told us what we didn't need to insure we didn't waste our money. He was just a great guy and he deserves 10s all the way around the board not to mention a raise. He did not leave us until we were checked out and ready to go and made sure we were loaded to go.
