When you hire a company to provide a service and they provide good service for many years, you don’t expect that to change. With LCS it did change. For the worse. I used to have such a healthy lawn until this year. After the last treatment in August/September I noticed this area of my lawn start to die. It didn’t start in a small part and then grow into this zig zagging pattern. It was like this from the start. Prior to taking this photo my lawn was not so green because we hadn’t had much rain. I don’t water my lawn because as a four time homeowner I know the grass will go dormant and return when the rain does. That’s 36 years of homeownership experience. Regardless, when I contacted LCS they said they did come out right away to take a look at it. I was told that this was caused by drought like conditions and not watering 1-2 inches a week. I disagreed because the areas of my lawn that are affected by lack of rain has never been in this area because of shade from trees. We made an appointment to meet to look at it together but I never received an email confirmation regarding the time. However I was told when I inquired after a billing reminder-I wasn’t paying my bill until they fixed the problem- that the manager did come to my house and determined it was lack of water and an infestation and the area would need to be reseeded, which they DON’T DO! I would have to do it myself or hire a landscaper. My bottom line and belief is that they killed portions of my lawn with pesticide and blamed it on the weather. When I sent this picture before mowing it because the damage is very obvious, they said that it looked like my lawn was coming back. The green areas have alway been green. Nevertheless I canceled my contract and decided to give them a negative review because I am so disappointed in their horrible treatment of my lawn and their service. If they had rectified the situation this would have been a different story. If you look back in their reviews you will find this has happened before. Update: I have already reached out to LCS a number of times without any resolution other than to hire a landscaper or do it myself. If you took time to read your reviews you would see that it’s definitely not “mother nature” and definitely an issue with your products or application of products. I am not sorry to see you go. Shame on you for your BS excuses. There are no comment on my lawn from the last visit. See invoice below.

We pride ourselves in trying to provide the best service we can but unfortunately the problems on your lawn were out of our control and a fault of mother nature. I've used LCS for at least 10 years for weed control and fertilizing. They have always provided professional service, and you just can't argue with the results!

Have been using LCS for a number of years. I arrived home and saw their truck out front while Nate was fertilizing. I told him my lawn looks so great compared to my neighbor. Nate was very friendly so I asked him about aeration and he proceeded to tell me all about liquid aeration. I was very impressed my his knowledge and customer service oriented attitude. In todays world great service is a refreshment! Next year I think will add that to my services. Nate is a tribute to your customer service.
