My backyard was just completed by Hicks landscaping team. Sal Masullo, our landscape designer, completely reimagined our back yard patio and garden. His design and plan was executed beautifully by Alex and his team and Mark and his team ( Black Bear Masonry). Sal was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Cant wait to do my front yard!

Craig Donnely and his team just completed a landscape job for us that further enhanced our already beautiful waterfront setting. His design for our backyard was perfect based on the requirements we presented. All who worked on the job were professional and  eager to please. Craig has done many jobs for us in the past and has always been on the mark. He followed our every request and made sure the end result gave us privacy with many magnificent plantings. We chose Hicks for our backyard renovation and we couldn't be more pleased.  The job was done quickly, efficiently and absolutely beautifully.  Hicks, specifically Craig Donley-- who managed the project, were in daily contact.  We knew who was showing up, when they would be there, and exactly what they would be doing.  Other than a few days of bad weather, there were no wasted moments. This meant that project was completed, from ground-breaking to finishing touches, with remarkable speed.  Craig and his team coordinated all permits and communications with the town.  They asked our input and advice with all questions and design changes.  Every member of the Hicks team was friendly, hard-working, and respectful of our home and our family.

A quick anecdote:  My daughters' cherry tree, the one that blooms in April-- right around her birthday--was a casualty of the renovation.  This was very upsetting to her... hysterically upsetting.  Craig and team made sure to get the same type of tree placed somewhere else in the yard.  They included my daughter in the placement, the hole digging, and the ceremonial planting of the new tree.  Not only that, but Juan (everyone's favorite Hicks demo guy and strong-man) cut tree-stump seats from the old cherry for my children to sit on beneath the new one.

When you begin a huge project, there are usually so many headaches and hassles, so many hurdles and setbacks.  There was none of that with Hicks.  Can't recommend them enough.

Craig is the best Landscape Designer/Architect I’ve ever worked with…and their have been many over the years. His designs are unique and timeless. We’ve had so many “strangers” come up to our house inquiring as to who did the design for us. His team are so unbelievably professional, friendly, responsive and responsible.  Couldn’t of asked for a better, fun and enjoyable project and outcome.

Outstanding job by the team at Hicks on all aspects of our backyard project.  Hicks has completely transformed the yard and the finished product has exceeded our expectations.  They coordinated all work with mason, plumber, electrician, carpenter, suppliers, sprinkler and our town (permits).  In addition to the project work, their expertise in landscape design has made the yard everything that it could be.  Thanks much to Craig, Rich, Inmar and the team for everything!

Very pleased with major backyard makeover. After a few consultations  with project manager Anthony, I was confident that he understood what my vision was.  The crew, led by Alex, was professional, knowledgeable, respectful and hard working. Showed up on time and went over and above to make sure I was satisfied. It was Anthony’s well thought out and inspiring design that gave us the confidence to go with Hicks.  He is one of Hick’s several designers.   His design complimented the architect of the house and also met my expectation of a lush green and low maintenance garden that would remain interesting thru out each season of the year.  We were impressed by the quality and variety of plants offered by Hicks.  The staffs who planted the garden were super professional and attentive to details.  It was a pleasant experience from design to completion.

Wish we could give Craig Donley a five star plus! Years ago, he took our landscape dream and turned it into a beautiful reality. Over the years, he helped us make additions, replacements and advised us on year round maintenance. He and his team are knowledgeable, congenial, hard-working and a joy to be with. I worked with Hicks Landscape Design who designed and implemented new landscaping at my home.  They were quick to produce a design and budget and ultimately gave me a full, detailed proposal of all plants and labor.  They came and met me at my home and walked me through the design, made adjustments as discussed and ultimately completed the work on time and on budget.
