  Horrible company! When I bought my home last year, My lawn looked fantastic, best in the sub! They had not hired a professional lawn treatment company. As the new owner I wanted to be sure to carry the torch, so I decided hire Go Green , even though they were the most expensive. They assured me they would come out as often as needed , to do touch ups. What I didn’t realize is that meant they would do poor quality work and it would be up to me to “catch it” and call them to come back and do it right. Huge areas of my lawn were missed and so I called to have them spray all the weeds that sprouted, but now for three weeks I had dead weeds everywhere. They failed to notice later in the season that brown patches were starting, and spreading week by week. A tech came out and said that the guy who sprayed should have noticed that and made notes on my bill, but the only thing on my bill were pitches for extra services unrelated to the brown patches. I was told nothing could be done about the brown patches. So now my once beautiful lawn was now 50% dead. They would treat for crabgrass which apparently didn’t work , hence the weeds that they had to keep coming back to re treat , then two days later they were back to treat for grubs. So budgeting for their services was difficult because you never know when you are getting a bill , then you get two within a week. The grub control was additional , suggested to me because moles eat grubs, and this keeps grubs and moles from coming. After my lawn became a road map of mole hills , the tech came back and said there is nothing they can do , grub prevention doesn’t mean you won’t have moles , moles will still come to eat other bugs. I said , so why did I buy grub prevention? They said , well you still don’t want grubs, they are not good for your lawn. With no other explanation. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! It’s a huge waste of money. A few seasonal apps by yourself will give you a better quality lawn and save you hundreds of dollars. Tip from a new pro : use milorganite twice a year for a thick green lawn ! It’s cheap and works wonders !

  This is my second year with Go Green fertilizing my lawn and the improvement exceeds my expectations. After years of trying to fertilize myself and doing a lousy job of it, I decided to try Go Green after a neighbor recommended them. I committed to three years because a fertilizing program needs time. I’m already pleased before having completed year two. My service technician is very thorough and leaves me reports noting certain features and conditions about my lawn that day. When I call the office, I am treated very nicely. Finally, Go Green’s costs are reasonable although they increased 10% in year 2 and another 19% in year 3.
