  We have had to call every time to get our driveway plowed. Once the excuse was “they forgot us” . Next time was 5 of their trucks were broke down. This time it was that the driver told them it was done. Seriously! Feb 28, 2019- Since my first review (see above) - there has been 2 snowfalls requiring snow removal. Each time First Step came without me having to call them and they did a good job. As a result, I have changed my rating from a1 to a 3. We used them for lawn care last year and they did great with that- I would rate them a 4 for lawn care.

  Hello Laura, Sorry you were having trouble. Your contract states that you are to be plowed for 2" or more of snow within 24 hours of the end of the snowstorm. The first time you called, we did have plows down, however the snowstorm lasted for 2 days straight and you were still cleared within the 24 hours of the end of the storm. The second storm you called about, we had already plowed your driveway. 50 mph wind gusts and blowing snow often causes more accumulation in driveways after they are already cleared. Remember in the future that a phone call is the only way to dispatch us to come clear your driveway a second time, as we have no way of knowing that your driveway has accumulated snow again. I personally cleared your driveway the second time, and there was almost 2" in the driveway. Had we not cleared the day before, you would have had 4"-6" in your driveway. There were also piles from the plow still visible at the end of the driveway. We are committed to servicing our customers to the best of our ability. A fair review would be appreciated, as we have serviced your property exactly the way your contract states.
