Last season they left my back gate open and our dog got out. The owner apologized and said he would send us something for the inconvenience. Never got anything, but whatever. We have a pool and a trampoline. They always moved the cord for the filter and also moved the trampoline. I paid again for their services for this season and am already thinking about not renewing after this month. They have cut the lawn 3 times. The grass is still long after it's cut, they did not move the trampoline and I am afraid that they will not take care of the cord for the pool filter once it's up and running. Oh, and today, this is the best part, they left my gate WIDE OPEN again...Luckily my husband noticed before he let the dog out, but seriously?!?! We have a fenced in yard for a reason...you leaving it open gives people a wide open view of my backyard AND your irresponsibility could lead to my dog getting out AGAIN. I will be calling them in the morning to complain, but I do not think I will continue using this company.

I’m very sorry that this happened, If I had a bunch of robots working I could gurantee no mistakes but we are still using human beings! ,And sometimes they mess up. I would have hoped you would have contacted us instead of putting on a review before we had any knowledge of the problem and an opportunity to fix it. I will remove you from our schedule as of today and greatly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you could please let the office know your customer number or address we will cancel service (no one in our database with your name)

This is the worst possible company!!! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! My first impression: had them set up to cut my grass and they never showed up. I couldn't get a hold of anyone to discuss this for almost 2 weeks! I spoke with someone who sorted things out, and decided to give them another chance. Second strike: the company showed up to cut the lawn one day and only weed wacked the front lawn because the grass was so dry from lack of rain. They charged me for a full week of service. I called them after seeing this on my bill and they said they would correct this. About 3 weeks went by and we got the new corrected statement. I got a call the very next day saying that they were going to send me to collections for not paying. I explained that the bill just came in the mail yesterday, and the statement saud 7/27/16 (5 days ago). I also explained that they had overcharged for the bill and I had to wait for the statement. He said the services were done a few weeks ago, so I should have paid...even though I had to wait for the new statement because I can no longer pay online as I am not an active costumer. He gave me a very hard time when I did nothing wrong-just waited for my statement (that has the date of 5 days previous and doesn't say I have any outstanding balance or late fees!) TERRIBLE costumer service, and apparently TERRIBLE knowledge of their own business transactions!!!! I wish I could give them ZERO stars!!!

I am sorry for your "horrible" experience with our company. You were supposed to be cut on 5/28, and that was not done. You called the following Tuesday 5/31 and I apologized and provided your first service on 6/3. You did call to ask why you were charged for a full cut for your service on 6/24, but this call was not until 7/7 when you canceled service because of financial changes at your home. The account was adjusted at that time and I was told you would send in payment. You probably did just receive a STATEMENT yesterday, you see an invoice is when there are new services rendered which you got on 7/1 for the previous month, I believe there were 4 cuts for June on that invoice. Since the invoice went unpaid we sent a statement out on 7/27/2016 to show you there are still open unpaid charges on your account. At that time your account was 30 days past due. We also called you on 7/29 at 4:05 pm and left a message for you to call us back about an open balance. I then called you today 8/2 and left another message for you to please call us. You returned the call, I then stated that I was calling in regards to past due invoice, and your response was I just got it yesterday. I asked if you could take care of the balance, and you said you would work on it why are you hassling me about a bill that you just got yesterday. I tried to explain that the services were done in the month of June (not 3 weeks ago) and that the bill was in fact 30 days past due, and you stated you were waiting on a revised bill, (which was already addressed on the 7/7 when we spoke on the phone). I tried to explain that the services were completed in the month of June (which, as you stated, you had the statement, which lists the days of service, all in June) I was then told that "Im glad we canceled services because your a f**king a**hole, and you hung up the phone. In today's world it is very easy to leave a review on a companies website or google page, and unfortunately it is not able to be verified before being published. If by terrible customer service you mean, not letting people get away with not paying there bills, guilty as charged. If by Terrible knowledge of business transactions you mean knowing that an invoice is for services rendered, and a statement is a record of unpaid transactions, guilty as charged. You also claimed you could not pay online due to being an inactive customer, and this is why you didn't pay, again another stretch of the truth, in fact you never registered your account online to be able to make payments. You have to create a user ID and Password to access your account, there is then a check box on your customer screen that you notifies us that have registered and the date and time when you did, which surprise, surprise, you never did either. You see we do not want customers like yourselves that think it is okay to not pay their bills, and then try to slander the company online on Facebook, and our google page because we called you to get payment. As you see you are the minority and not the majority when it comes to our reviews. We take great pride in making sure that you have access to your entire account to include payments (oops you wouldn't have any of those), services scheduled, completed, and contact information. Here is the link, www.lawngateway/evergreenexteriors/ I apologize if you feel I gave you a hard time, but I have zero tolerance for people that think it is okay to not pay your bill, and then go on to a public form and give half truths to make themselves feel better about not paying for their services. I feel that this is actually a good thing to have on here, because we have no intentions of attracting customers that don't pay their bills. We do have a strict payment policy, because of people like you. It is an unfortunate price of doing business nowadays I guess. We did send you to collection company today for nonpayment which will now reflect negatively on your credit.

How can I give less that 1 star. We called asking for lawncare services and 2 weeks later a call back. Then 1 week for a first time cur. Plus looking for a huge tree trimming opportunity around our home which we were told after a walk thru that the owner would be stopping by to give me a final quote. 2 weeks have passed and not a single call or visit. I can say we have a lot of tree trimming $ opportunity and they are not wanting to do a simple customer service 101 thing by staying in touch with the customer. Just to add that I have contacted another tree trimming company to provide me a quote and Im now looking to have them include my lawncare. We have a $500,000 home and Im suprised they would not have taken the opportunity to market us as a reference for other future customers. Such a shame.

I just looked up your account, and the job was sold on the 18th and serviced on the 25 (a friday your scheduled cut day). I don’t know when you originally called, but it was cut on the day promised?! I apologize for this not being fast enough for your needs, but it was relayed to (I believe your wife) that we would be there the next week and we were. Was there issues with the service that was preformed? The job report stated grass was “Extremely long and overgrown and took multiple mowings to get to a manageable height”. As far as your quote for landscaping, the individual that met with your household was supposed to let you know that we were not interested in the work due to the type and condition of your landscape, and us not being able to meet your timeframe that was discussed with him. I do apologize that this was not relayed to you as instructed and I am very sorry that this did not get passed along.
