  Poor customer service, therefore, deserves no stars (I had to give one to enable my post). I scheduled an appointment with this company 12 days ahead of the date given. A female called me on the phone to schedule the appointment after I completed an inquiry online. The day of the appointment and thirty-five minutes into the appointment time, no one was at my home. I called the office and spoke with the same person who had initially scheduled the appointment. I was told that I had been "booted" out of my scheduled appointment. She then asked had I received an invoice via email which needed to be paid prior to the appointment. I informed her that I had not looked at my personal emails to know if I had or had not received this email. Please keep in mind that I had received multiple text messages prior to the date of the appointment to confirm the appointment and spoken to this individual on the phone. Not once was I informed of any fees. My reason for choosing this company was due to the online ratings and the close proximity to my home. Keep in mind that the company website stated "free" estimate. Granted, everyone deserves to be paid for their time but, a customer's time should also be respected. I had no problem with paying applicable fees when made aware of the need to do so. This company wants to be surreptitious about their fess or do they pick and choose who the fees will be charged too........... Buyer beware! False advertisement and poor customer service. Perhaps some retaining and an update to the website is needed.

  Dear Ms. Banks, Thank you for your review! I seriously appreciate it. As you know, many people base their decisions on google reviews so I wanted to clarify a few things to ensure that this does not happen again. We take your response very seriously and I am very sorry this happened. Upon reviewing the process that lead to your appointment, we learned that we need to clarify landscaping design estimates may have a fee on our website. We checked our processes and also learned that our website chat bot also needs to reflect this information. Thank you for pointing this out. As a result, we are now a better company. As of today we now have a documented process (SOP) standard operating procedure for which services carry a fee (landscaping design & drainage and erosion). Additionally, we documented many important reasons "Why" there is a fee and why this is a benefit for a client. Our website and chat bot will be updated as soon as our website company makes the update. The office staff tries diligently to learn of what the customers needs are prior to me being scheduled for an estimate appointment. In many cases, the client asks for one thing on the phone (when setting the appointment) and then when I go out to discuss that work, they ask for other things all together including a landscape design. The staff works hard to try and ensure that such things as a design fee or other items are needed prior to the appointment. We did send a design fee invoice which should have been followed up by a phone call, which was missed by office staff. This is no excuse for how we all dropped the ball. I do agree we failed in not calling you to say that I will not be coming out with out your approval of the design fee. We work hard on a culture of "no surprises"! My staff also indicated how upset you were when calling after the failed estimate meeting time. For that we are terribly sorry. Hopefully this helps and we are still here to serve you. I have over 20 years of experience and I truly believe that I am one of the very best landscaping professionals in this area. My team follows that level.   They came out for an estimate yesterday. My yard needs A LOT of work. They were patient and really knowledgeable. I felt super comfortable and in good hands. I can’t wait to see what the final outcome is!
