I would not recommend Billy Goat Lawn Care Service.  They damaged my neighbor's property and never fixed it.  Last year they billed me extra for services already included in my contract. They did remove the charges after I showed them the contract they wrote.  I had already spoken with Jim and hired them for service again this year, but his wife claimed I did not have an agreement with them, and they will not return my phone calls.

As Jim's "wife" and the owner of Billy Goat Lawn Care I always have to make wise business decisions. Unfortunately, to travel 90 minutes round trip to mow one lawn that takes 30 minutes to complete we would have to charge her $80 to cover our labor, fuel and insurances. As I explained multiple times to Ms. Hunter we would be losing $45 a week to service her property. We just can not do that.

Obviously the complaints are coming from disappointment because we had to cancel servicing her property this year. The damage done to the neighbor's lawn, unfortunately the deck of a mower did gauge a peak of a hill and we top dressed that with compost and grass seed last year. However, no one bothered to water it in our absence so the grass never took.

The extra services we charged Ms. Hunter last year were for services not included in her contract but above and beyond. She expected that hedge trimming was included for free in what was just a lawn mowing contract. We did take the charges off just as a curtsey to keep her happy. About us not returning phone calls, no idea where that came from because we have left messages for her. At this point there really isn't much else to discuss.

We pride ourselves in our customer service and satisfaction. I feel bad that she is so upset that we can not service her this year but this was a business decision not a personal one.

A Big thank you to these people.  My daughter passed away in August. They took on the service at no cost for the rest of season.  Their kindness was really appreciated. Her yard was a job well done. Wishing them the best in their business.

Billy Goat Lawn Care has always provided top notch work for us.  Reliable and quick to respond.  Thanks for the years of service.  I feel confident referring them to friends, family or clients.

Last summer they were great, no issues. This summer they were horrible. They killed our grass around our flower beds and deck with the weed wacker. When I emailed them to cancel our service they promised me they would come lay grass seed down if I kept their service, so I decided to give them another chance, but they never layed the grass seed down. The next time they showed up they weed wacked my raspberry bush down that clearly had a little black fence around it! That was it, I cancelled service. I told them I wanted them to replace the raspberry bush and they wont, but they expect me to pay for the service. Riduculous!

By far the worst organized company I've ever dealt with.
The "owner" Jim sits in his truck while his worker does all the labor regardless of the size of the job.
He's really good at barking orders and going back to sit in his beat to hell truck that breaks down frequently on job sites.
Jim fights with clients on their property regarding contracts.
Absolutely the worst landscape "company" I have ever dealt with.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!
Organic lawn care is a complete scam.
He dumps garbage compost randomly in yards and calls it done.
Do yourself a favor, run far away from these people!

Mr. Brooks worked for us for a total of 3 weeks. His work ethic and attitude stunk. He unfortunately did not want to do the work that he was hired to do. It is sad that he feels that he needs to resort to this type of childish behavior, but happy that he no longer is part of the Billy Goat Lawn Care team.

I have been very pleased with the clean up and grass cutting of my property.  This was the first time I have used Billy Goat and they have been very friendly and will get the job done whatever you ask.
