  Hands down THE best place for all things poultry! Over the last 3 years we have ordered over 50 birds from them. We’ve only lost 3! They staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly! They have done 2 special orders for us and they have worked their butts off to get those orders filled in a timely manner no matter how busy they are! We get all our feed from them, and the quality of the feed is amazing, you can literally smell the quality difference from other big brands. I recommend them to every single person!

  Went in for ducks and a few more chicks. It took 10 minutes for staff to even ask us if we needed help even though there was only one other customer and three workers. Worse was the chicks we horribly overcrowded in the bins and the prices were literally 2-3 times what I paid this morning at another place down the road for the same kind of chicks. They did have good variety though.

  Hi Erik, I am sorry you were disappointed. Our staff spends countless hours maintaining the health and well-being of our chicks. Here at Anoka-Ramsey Farm and Garden, we carry a selection of chicks that most other places do not have (50+ breeds commonly available for in-store pickup). We also do not have any minimums for our poultry. I was in the store when you came in and our staff did not ignore you, that comment about waiting for 10 minutes was false. I believe you said that because you were upset with our pricing. We are aware that other places have chicks that are cheaper, but no other place in the state of Minnesota has the variety that we carry. Thank you.

  All staff were helpful, friendly, and pack up your items in your vehicle. I came for unsalted peanuts for my squirrel population and also left with water softener salt. Plus they have birds and bunnies to look at! Could definitely be family fun. I'll be back for sure!
