Very nice pleasant place to take something to be repaired just don't buy a Cub cadet Challenger they are a piece of junk

Very slow customer service (at least from my experience). Stood around for a very long time with my products at the counter, and with the three employees in there, apparently only one was capable of ringing me up. Finally, a fourth guy came in and moved it forward. I would say not friendly, but overall it is a well stocked store with quality merchandise. Just wait until you have plenty of time before you go in.

Ed, thanks for the review.  We apologize with your wait.  We remember you!  We agree it took to long to get you helped.  Our main sales guy who knows the extended warranty info very well has been unexpectantly out the last 4 days.   We will continue to cross train and try to get better.

I had a flat tire on a piece of equipment today. Nobody had a 20x8x8 turf tire in stock except Zimmer Eq.  I unloaded the piece of equipment and they replaced the tire and I was back on the job site in less than an hour.  I really appreciated their extra effort.  I know they had other work to do but they took some extra time out for me!

Words cannot describe how amazing the staff and team are at Zimmer. I’ve purchased all of my commercial lawn equipment from this place and they are so friendly and knowledgeable! Shawn has helped me several times with break downs and repairs immediately so I can get back up and running to take care of my lawn care customers. He’s a amazing asset to their team and I’d give them more stars if I could. I will be a customer for life!

I chose to shop local by using Zimmer Tractor’s Lawrenceburg location to purchase a Stihl ms251c chainsaw for my father as a gift in April of 2020 as an early fathers day gift because I was deployed overseas. My father had not used it once until December of 2020 and on the first use the saw had issues. A full tank of fuel had not even been run through it yet. It was not over used or mishandled in anyway. It was not cutting wood that was oversized for the saw, and had been filled with all stihl products, ie. bar and chain oil and Moto mix from Zimmer upon sale. Shortly after starting to cut up the branches the saw had begun to bog down and a burnt smell had developed. The saw was put down and let cool, then put into the case and taken back to Zimmer. The counter clerk had told me the saw was misused and therefore would not be covered under the warranty or the extended warranty that I had purchased extras to receive, but he would be more than happy to sell me a new saw. I then took the saw to Sayler Park Hardware where they fixed the saw no questions asked for free without even filing a warranty claim. If you want great customer service and someone who will value you as a customer I would not choose Zimmer.

Austin,  the needle bearing that you had to replace on your saw commonly goes bad when a saw it started up and left to sit at idle or high idle with the chain brake on.  The friction causes the sprocket and clutch drum to overheat and melt the needle bearing.  Unfortunately, this is not a warrantable repair.  You purchased the replacement bearing for $11 and left our store with your saw.  Yes, replacing the needle bearing generally only takes a few minutes.  I can imagine that the other dealer did pop it in for you free of charge.  I'm glad they were able to help you out.   At the same time, while in our shop, you told us you would do it yourself and didn't seem upset while in person.   The 1 star review was a bit of a surprise.
