  Yard Doctors have been great for years, but they have let my yard slip recently. I found out today that they are under new ownership. Nate Mazanowski with Amazing Outdoor Services, a Tampa FL based company has bought them and it doesn't look good for their clients. I had pulled weeds and cut down dead bushes and vines that the crew had been overlooking and the crew said they "weren't allowed" to haul it away! They also advised me that their new owner has plans to raise all of our rates. So let me get this straight... I pay you to maintain my yard. You don't keep up on it, so I have to step in and do it myself then you have the audacity to refuse to haul away one bag of trimmings AND you plan to increase my rates?! Mr. Mazanowski was on the phone with his crew several times while they were here but when I asked to speak to him directly, he refused. It is my understanding that the company had 175 clients when he bought it and they are already down to 130!!! This type of practice may fly in Florida but if you better step up your customer service game if you want to compete out here! Too bad. Yard Doctors WAS a great company with reasonable prices, but not anymore. I'm taking my business somewhere else, and I would advise you to do the same.

  Unsatisfying. I do not trust them. I went through my home owners warranty company (I am a recent widow of 9 months). They came out the first time and did my entire back yard including around my lemon tree and a minimal area around the pool. The second time they came out, they refused to do the minimal area in around the pool and the area around my lemon tree unless I paid an extra $40.00. I had planned on getting a quote for ongoing maintenance now that I see how in a couple of months it needed it, but since I felt like I was being taken advantage of I am going to look for another company.
