Rented some equipment from them for a day, brought it back after taking it to a wash and getting it cleaned up and they still charged us $100 more than the quote for “cleaning fee”. When asked about it the guy behind the counter threw a fit and banned us from renting. Completely unprofessional and money hungry. This place is gonna ruin your day.

As always when you visit with a problem the owner behind the counter is HATEFUL.  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've purchased at least three power tools here because I have used still for over 35yrs. The last two blowers bought from this guy one worked and second has had two problems. Both times he was RUDE. He's so afraid of admitting the product could be a lemon he says things that don't even make sense. I DON'T  MIND PAYING WHATEVER IT COSTS BUT HE'S GOT TO BE RUDE . NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN. AG PRO TREATS PEOPLE WITH RESPECT.

I PURCHASED A EXMARK MOWER FROM WORKING MAN RENTALS!!!  I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW AMAZING THE STAFF TREATED ME. THEY TOOK THEIR TIME (even when very busy) TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME. . THEY WERE AWESOME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. WORKING MAN RENTAL IS MY GO TO PLACE FOR ALL THINGS LAWN CARE.

These guys may seem to function old school but they have stepped full into this new market with one old fashioned idea that is most refreshing in today's market place, ---Customer service.  The Cajuns have a word they use when someone does Mir than expected --Lanyap.  Simply means a little extra.

I just want to start with saying that I am a business owner myself and know how valuable customer service is. I came in today looking for a bowl on a carburetor. I was not rude and did not say any negative words at all, actually I was in a good mood. After about 15 minutes of looking the carburetor up he gave me a price and then said I either need to buy it or get out. I only spent 15 minutes of his time and they were not busy. He slammed his hand down on the counter and told me to get out. I cannot believe what just happened!!!!

I called this business and asked if they had a particular Stihl product, mentioning the retail price and the model number. The lady I spoke to stated they did. I went to pick it up, and it was more expensive than the retail price listed on Stihl’s website and which all other dealers sell for. I asked if they had a mark up over the retail price which they stated they do. Now, I know why they have several in stock when the other dealers in town do not. I had another local dealer order me one and it will be here Monday. Knowing that they’re already making money at retail price yet marking it up even further dissuades me from doing business with this company. After reading the previous review in which the gentleman was told to buy something or leave cements my decision, I’ll never visit this store again. I can tell they have a take it or leave it attitude.

The owner is very round, and disrespectful.  I wouldn't recommend renting anything from them.

horrible service. told us to bring in our lawnmower to see if we could get it fixed. as we approach the door before even entering he said we don't operate on that stuff and told us to get out in the most disrespectful way

I just bought an Exmark zero turn mower and am waiting for delivery. You won't find a more honest, knowledgeable and personable person than Chuck. They have definitely earned my business.

Went to address an issue with my Stihl trimmer. Said I had bought it 3 to 4 years ago. (I have a 4 year warranty on it).
Told them the problem and the first thing out of the owner's mouth was "buy a new one". Didn't ask if it was under warranty or to bring it in for evaluation.
He was borderline hateful. Everything that came out of his mouth was condesending to me and his employees.
I'll take my business to another dealer a few extra miles away.
And I'm going to let my "friends" on FB know what I experienced. It'll be their judgement to do business with them.

Most HATEFUL people I have EVER spoken to. After reading all these reviews I am honestly shocked that they still have a business! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I DO NOT let people talk crazy to me or my loved ones

I took my lawn mower there for service and they assured me i would have my issue looked at and after three weeks I started calling them about my mower. They were rude on the phone so I called back every other day till I got an answer about my issue. 300 hundred dollars later and 6 weeks I got my mower back and it still does not run any better. So I took it back and after 3 more days they told me it was another problem that they could fix for another 300 to 800 dollars. I went and got my mower back and fixed it for less then 50 bucks. They are terrible and I would not bring a bicycle to them to fix.

Rent at your own risk, rented a chainsaw and cleaned it better than it was recieved. my wife took it back while I was at work. They accused me of putting straight gas in it vs mixed and said I blew the piston. said i had to pay $100 extra to fix it. I even have receipts from lowes when I purchased the oil to mix with the gas. I have a 1 gallon can I only put mixed gas in. Evidently when you do the right thing it's still your fault and you're going to pay up with these guys.

Freezing weather and I need two torpedo heaters repaired.  Both fixed the same day!  In addition I bought another heater from them.  They assembled, put fuel in it, and started the new heater before it leaves the store.  Can't get that kind of service anywhere else.  Great service!

If I could give no stars I would. Not the only time they have been unprofessional or just seem not to care. Customer service is lost for the most part.
The customer on the phone is important too. Short and rude and lies.

I've only purchased Stihl products from them and had them serviced - but I assume their excellent customer service would transfer to the rentals as well.

It's a full service place, you pay a little more, but I've only had great experiences dealing with the nice guys at Working Man.

I needed to sand and refinish my floors, they took the time to understand my project, and recommend the  right tools and techniques to do the job right, as easily as possible. Great service and a knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Paid extra $200 to have a trencher delivered that showed up 3 hours LATE and BROKE DOWN within the first hour of use. They attempted to charge me for cleaning off the hydraulic fluid from this EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION. I did not have enough time to complete my project on the weekend that I had scheduled, and was only able to use 5 of the 8 hours that I rented the equipment for. After, they come and got the trencher I was called and informed that I did not refill the fuel enough and was going to be charged an extra $35. I was told by this person that my schedule was IRRELEVENT and I should be happy with not having to pay for the clean up fee for the hydraulic fluid from their equipment FAILURE. I still have to rent more equipment to complete my project and will go to Blue Line (256-543-0145) next time.

guy started cussing me he was the owner. his employees are good but won't never go back

Called to see if they had what i needed and i was spoken to like an idiot for simply asking if they had a tool.  Then when i asked of they took cash the guy says, "yeah,  if yiu have $1,000 deposit" I was floored.  Not only was that ridiculos but the tool costs $500 brand new. Needless to say even if i could have done business with them I wouldn't have.

We traveled all the way from Wedowee Alabama to get the parts we called for .Got there and the manager Mike was rude and disgusting. He screamed and yelled at my husband because he sat his chain saw on his desk. I mean your a chain saw dealer for crying out loud. He then snatched the part from MY HUSBANDS HANDS. My husband asked to speak to A manager and o wow what do you know that was him. I will NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE IT ONE STAR. Buyer beware.

Fast service. However, when I asked for a vibrator for cobble stone pavers they said a compactor would work just as good, well broke 3 pavers while using it. Simple was close to closing time so he said whatever the h&#l just to get me out,

Had my mower worked on after it blowed up on me and they was excellent about getting it back to me fast. They has the best mechanics in town, period.

I've rented several pieces of construction equipment from Working Man Rentals over the past couple of months.  Great service.  Very responsive when I had a problem with one of them.  I'll use them again.

RECENTLY RENTED A 34' LIFT AND LIGHT TOWER. THEY CAME AT A FAIR PRICE AND THE DELIVERY FEE WAS ACCEPTABLE. BOTH IN STORE AND DELIVERY PERSONNEL WERE FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I WILL DEFINITELY BE USING WORKING MAN RENTALS IN THE FUTURE.

Bought a new Exmark mower there two years ago.  A couple of minor issue with the mower in the second year.  REPAIRED PROMPTLY AND COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.  I'm a Fan of Exmark and Working Man Rentals.

Looked all over town for string head for my stihl weed trimmer with no luck. They have a nice selection at reasonable prices fixed me right up.

I live 15 minutes from wm but drive to guntersville to avoid using those clowns they are extremely rude unprofessional and unfriendly.Phu is a great mechanic but they won't even let you talk to him over the phone to trouble shoot what the problem is btw he works from home take your mower there.. or take it to farm town.

Garbage service. Sold my father in law two different size wheel bearings for a front wheel of a John Deere riding mower. When I inquired,they insisted that they don’t even carry the wheel bearings at all. Said good luck. Yes. Good luck with your “business” and your terrible reviews.
