  I am extremely please with the work Matt did for me. He was professional, he showed up when he said he was going to and finished the project early! I had Windsor lawns switch out a ton of old land scraping stone, rebuild a boulder retaining wall that was falling apart, change a stone bed to a mulch bed, plant some flowers, plant a tree, and reseed an area of the lawn. He wasn’t the cheapest bid, but by far not the most expensive bid, you get what you pay for and I feel that with the quality of work they provide Windsor Lawns is a heck of a deal. After the work was done, everything looked great, but as time went on I noticed mulch was a little light in some areas, as well as some of the landscaping stone.  I emailed Matt and within two days, on the weekend he came over and addressed the concerns. From what I can tell, Matt wants his customers to be happy and you can tell from his responsiveness, professionalism, and follow through. Matt made my vision for the property a reality while giving me his professional input which saved me money!  Also instead of just rebuilding the retaining wall the same way, he restructured it so that water would drain away from the house, I appreciate the attention to detail because no one wants to deal with water damage.  If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thanks Matt for everything!

  Windsor Lawns was recommended by a coworker. We hired them to aerate, mulch, and reseed multiple bare spots and large area in front of house for about $1k. Matt was excellent on communication, punctual, and did the work with care to property. After watering seeded areas for a period of time only about 50% of the grass grew, which seemed to be there wasn’t enough seed that was used. I contacted him and he said he returned and applied more seed and fertilizer to areas that were lacking. I inspected and found fertilizer but no evidence of new seed. In my frustration of our sad bare lawn in front of our house, I applied black dirt, re-seeded with Scott’s seed and our lawn in that area looks fantastic. Today, Matt stopped out to look at the remaining areas in the backyard. He said it needed more seed but cautioned me for not watering recently in those spots. However, there is no point to watering if there isn’t proper seed. He really did not seem upset that we were not happy with the end result. They are coming back to re-seed the areas in the back. I just don’t feel I received the value for what I paid when I can achieve a more professional outcome, which is why I hired them originally when I did not have the time to address it.

  We had some bushes planted and some bushes removed and rocks moved and area seeded. Matt was very nice and easy to work with. They even ended up coming a day earlier than I expected which was great! The two men that did the work were very nice and I was amazed that they moved the rocks so quickly, that is back breaking work! They cleaned up nicely too! I would highly recommend this business and do plan to have them back in spring for more improvements to my property. Sharon Cotter , Windsor, Wi.
