I tried really hard to work with this company and be understanding but I can agree with other reviews, take your money else where. We paid a lot of money for a simple lawn install and we’re left with TERRIBLE results. We watered and fertilized and are still left with spots of bare dirt and weeds. They did not level correctly so we have multiple low spots that fill with water. They did not use the hyrdoseeder correctly so we have lines. They did not put down enough seed. I tried to be understanding and would not recommend this company at all. They were disrespectful of our time and didn’t communicate when they would be working. You won’t get the same respect I tried to give. Photos current status (5 months after install) Edited to comment on Brian's comments: If you would like to see my water bill, I can prove that watering was not the issue. The water company came and checked our meter this summer to make sure it wasn't broken, we watered so much. If you read this as a prospective customer, I would find another company.

We install several lawns a season, hundreds of acres through 20 years, and they are simple installations. "just add water" is literally all you need to do. Especially with all new graded soils, and hydro seed. The only reason why the seed wouldn't take is if the yard didn't get watered enough. Unfortunately for all the lawns we install there are one or two clients each year that haven't used our watering recommendations seriously and the lawns have struggled to come in well. We did come back - without mentioning and yes that we should have done, but it was a service we were trying to accomplish in between the rain showers to repair hydroseed marks, over-seed and and fertilize, but if the watering schedule isn't consistent the lawn will struggle. The pictures you have shown with the close up is a perfect example of drought or lack of watering. The hydro seed lines are a concentrations of seed and hydro seed, we did repair this. If you continue watering in the hot season and provide a fertilizing program your lawn will look great in one season, the second season will be lush. If watering as directed the seed will come in good. Seed and hydro provided by Site One - 1 bag of seed per 10,000 s.f. Starter fertilizer 1 bag per 8-10,000 s.f., 1/2”-1” of organic top soil. All done by industry standards. Water is the next essential ingredient

Update: Reply to owner, the first time you put down grass seed it was actually grass seed and we had no issues with that part of job. But the second time your workers came to fix the leveling, I don’t know what was in that grass seed mixture but it was not grass seed. We did water it and maintain it, grass never even came up, only weeds and it’s only where your guys seeded. I only ask that you fix the leveling issues that were promised and what we paid for. Come and see for yourself, I would love to talk to you about it! Williams Landscaping was hired to install French drains and level the backyard last year. The drainage issue was not fixed and the ground was not leveled. I hired them in August 2020 but they didn’t start the job until late October 2020 and rushed the job and they were putting down grass seed by the headlights of the truck. Because it was so late in the season they said they would be back in the spring to fix the issues. They did come back, in June and our yard looks worse than ever. We still have drainage issues, now in places we never had before, the ground is still not level and I now have a yard full of weeds!!! We have called them, emailed them and even requested the owner come out himself to see what it looks like, they say they are coming back to fix but here we are into August and no one has been back. I know they don’t guarantee the grass but we have no grass, only weeds.

You are correct we don't warranty lawns because it is up to the owner to water and fertilize the lawn for proper growth. We use a premium seed in all our lawn installs with a 90% or greater germination rate which means you just need to water properly. French drains are designed take take up run off water from your lawn area, hold it and release over time if there is no exit line existing. In cases of heavy down poor you will still see water gathering but the french drain will eventually take it up. The plumbing we use and drain is a 4" line plenty to take in normal rain event but will overwhelm it with anything considered heavy like a 1"-2" rain fall in a short amount of time.

We knew not just any company could do the amount of work we needed done. And we also knew that we wanted quality work. We met Nick from Williams Landscape Design and knew we were on the right track. Removing 70 year old evergreens was going to be a challenge and that’s when we met Phil and Ronnie also from Williams Landscape. Great guys, doing great work. The project lasted 7 days and we couldn’t be more happy. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Williams Landscape.
Response from the owner
