  Very knowledgeable staff. I walked in with a motor with a simple issue. They stopped and fixed it immediately while I waited. I left a second motor there. They replaced bearings and a capacitor in less than 2 hours. Outstanding service at a very fair price.

  Took in a compressor that would run but wouldn’t shut off. He called said it “runs and shuts off good” so I drove the the 30 minute drive to pick it up only to stand there for 20 minutes and it never shut off. Two hours of driving and $15 wasted!!! Hauled it home, guess I’ll have to replace the switch myself.

  I took a portable generator to Wilkes Electric, as I asked the one at the desk about looking for someone to take a look and see if they could repair it, he turned and asked someone in the back if he could look at a portable generator, and the man in the back said no with a laught. I didn't think much of it at the time, but things got worse. The man followed me outside, and took a smarty mouth approach. How long has it been since it was cranked, look at that gas tank, got to have a new one of them, then he said if I could back across the road there was a big hole I could throw it in. I didn't need his poor attitude, all I needed to know was there a professional in the store that could work on the product, and what kind of cost would there be. There are professional people and there are those at Wilkes Electric. I will not stop in that store ever again and I will tell everyone I know how I was treated. Rev. Billy Felts
