I’ve been using Weed Man Lawn Care for 6 years and am happy with their service. The lawn techs are very friendly, take the time to explain exactly what they’re going to be applying that day, answer any questions I have, and do exactly as expected. The office is very responsive if I have a question or need to change an appointment. I would recommend their service.

Thank you so much for your kind words! You are a valued customer and one of our first in your neighborhood, as I remember. I am very glad to hear that you have been pleased with the service you are receiving. We appreciate your business and your recommendation!

Had their service for my lawn for just over a year. After the weeds were all gone I had mud and some grass. I re-sodded my lawn May 1st and the lawn looked amazing. I call Weedman back out for starter fertilizer and then a soil samples to see what the lawn needed to help keep the sod healthy and looking killer all summer. This is when it all went sideways. I now have the worst looking lawn in the whole subdivision. It is all brown and a good third of the lawn is dead. After the soil sample I got the results back and it needed a long release fertilizer, Iron and Phosphorous. They put out the fertilizer and post emergent weeds control one week, then the phosphorus the next week and then another round of fertilizer the next. within two weeks the grass started browning and add some army worms in the mixture, I now have $11000 worth of nothing in my front yard. I cancelled my contract with them today. I pay someone to keep my yard looking like a golf course in tip top shape and after all the money spent, I am almost worse off than before I started this trip. Of course the only thing they say is, it is not their fault and it should come back. That is not good for this homeowner. Edit: This is not an attack of the business as a whole, it is a statement of the facts that I have. I can pull the treatments up and put them up too. You guys said what needed to be done to preserve the yard and shortly after several treatments the yard died. Why would one yard out of hundreds do this when most yards in the subdivision are not even being treated by a professional company to keep these things from happening?

If we are going to attack a company's reputation publicly, rather than share all of this when I spoke with you this morning, then let's please use accurate information. You installed new sod in May because the lawn was already thin and struggling. We came out to do a free service call to check the conditions and the manager noted, "lawn looks pretty good to have just been installed, struggling some underneath tree on right side". That is not what I would qualify as amazing. We did a soil test in June and discussed a tailored program without pre-emergents and doing amendments instead to help the health of the sod. We did apply the starter fertilizer and spot sprayed weeds on July 14th. And we did come back a week later on July 20th to apply A HALF BAG of phosphorus to your 8000 sf lawn. Please understand that many fertilizers include phosphorus. Ours does not. This was in no way enough phosphorus to kill a lawn or even a portion. We heard from you August 9th. If phosphorus or fert had burned your lawn this would have been evident more quickly than a matter of weeks. You said yourself you did have armyworms. This is exactly the damage we expect to see from armyworms. We came out on August 12th and applied fertilizer to aid in recovery. Our company has a great reputation for being honest and open with our customers. If we, in any way, felt this was due to our negligence, I would have offered to replace your sod. However, we do not control armyworms, and in my professional opinion, that is what killed your lawn. I am sorry you were not pleased and I am very sorry your lawn is stressed, but please state facts when you attack our company or our hard working employees that truly do work hard to ensure that every lawn is treated with the utmost care. Please know we did not say casually that it will come back. Many lawns suffer from disease, drought/heat stress, mowing damage, and armyworms and make a full recovery with proper care. We wish you the best.
