We were getting water into our basement. Called Valley Gardens and got a very reasonable quote. They spent a total of 7 days to complete job which was a 80 foot by 55 foot retaining wall (see pictures). I absolutely could not be more pleased with the level of professionalism and respect the workers showed while here. They greeted us every morning while we left for work, kept the mess as minimal as possible, and made sure thebmachines were parked out-of the way when leaving for the day. Again, there is no way to express the level of professionalism this company showed. We WILL be using them again with future projects.

Great place to pick up summer plants and trees. Locally owned and operated. They are extremely knowledgable and can special order things that aren't in stock when you drop by the store.

I paid a premium price for a construction of a flag stone walkway in October, 2020. The landscape crew was professional and hardworking and the stone mason was exceptional. The problem is that the landscape coordinator, Jerry Wood, opted to use an inappropriate material - poly sand (for paver stones no more than 1/4 inches apart) - instead of conventional stone dust mortar for the flag stone walkway. The poly sand began to erode in a month and I pressured replacement of the deteriorating sections, which Mr.Wood reluctantly authorized twice in the next two months. The poly sand continued to deteriorate through the winter and I sent Mr. Wood emails with pictures and requests for action in March, April, and May 2021, with no response. I phoned Mr. Wood and left a voice message in late May and did not receive a response. I then phoned the owner, Cary Levenson, and explained the situation and reminded him that Mr. Wood told me there was a one year guarantee on the project. It is now June 25, 2021 and no action has been taken by Valley Gardens to repair the numerous portions of deteriorated poly sand and/or to compensate me for the inappropriate use of this material with flag stone. I am now having to take formal action. Obviously, I do not recommend this company.
