  I purchased 5 trees with Mark. He came over and saw where I wanted them, additionally he saw that there were stones that he could use along with black silk so we bartered if he would fix where the stones and black silk were, with new sod and if he would level my backyard he could have all the stones that he wanted. He saw some dirt that was left over from new construction -so we asked and the builder said OK we could use it. Turns out that "dirt" as actually heavy clay. On top of all this mess, my lot is the lowest so I have water problems, Mark suggested he install a drain, connect my downspouts and to run them directly to the culvert. The builder slopped by and asked if they could connect my neighbors to the line and he'd pay for it. I asked multiple times how much this was going to cost and Mark always ignored me. We had no signed contract, no estimate etc. It was early December when they stopped working on it and said they'd be back in the spring. I mid-February I get a bill from Underwoods for ... wait for it ... $18,000. Unfortunately he stopped by and squabbled about the price. I should have said I'd pay him once the work was complete but I was stupid, I paid him half. And like many of you - that was the last I have seen or heard from him. The attached pictures show what a mess he left me.

  If I could give 6/5 Stars I would every time! Underwood's is the best is the business- quick, friendly, reasonably priced, and so so knowledgeable! My guy Joe is amazing and he makes sure every trip to set me up for success. Great investment that our property and family already benefit from! Thank you Underwoods for helping us enjoy our yard again!

  There was nothing in writing when they came out to do measurements for what you wanted done. You would tell them what you wanted done and they were like yeah we can do that. Then they came out and you felt like it was a half blank job. For the price it wasn't worth it. I had someone from a different company come out a few years ago to pull elm trees. Bigger trees mind you for $300. They charged me $1000 dollars to grind a little tree stump and pull some smaller elm trees. Then when I wanted the entire small hill deweeded and new grass seeded. They only put grass seed where the wild elm trees were pulled. Now its going to look patchy. Not what we thought they were going to do at all. When we brought up we were not happy with it. He said that is going to be more money. Well it if was. They should have told us at the beginning.
