Live in Stones Manor and we are forced to use this company b/c they are contracted by the HOA. They show up when they want to, skipping multiple weeks throughout the year. When they do show up they cut the lawn at whatever height they feel like blowing 2 weeks worth grass all over your flower beds. The weed eaters tear up your yard and DO NOT perform any edging. The zero turn mowers fly through your yard at top speed turning on a dime and tearing your grass apart. I would be ashamed to own or work for this poorly run business.
Response from the owner
We appreciate your opinion and your business. We have been contracted to provide landscape services for the public areas and the homes in the HOA for the past 5 years. We always try to provide the best quality for what we are contracted to do. We provide 32 mowings per year, and those are spread across the year from Spring to end of October, but mowing each and every week is sometimes not possible, based on weather. We provide fertilizer and spraying for weeds. Homeowners control all irrigation for their homes. We provide irrigation and enhancements for public spaces only. Any aeration and overseeding is also controlled by the Homeowner. Proper irrigation may address some bare spot issues, especially during the hotter days. Aeration & overseeding can also help fill in bare spots for fescue grass, will make a tremendous difference, and typically is done in the Spring and Fall. Fescue is a bunch grass, not a runner, so overseeding works best for eliminating bare spots. Ideally, objects like lights, or flags or ornaments would be best placed in a landscaped bed or flower pot or container, but not in the grass area. We appreciate your time and hope that working together and communicating provides the best outcome. Please reach out to us directly with any of your concerns.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We are contracted with them through our HOA in Stones Manor and they are contracted to mow each week May through October. This is not the case even when there has been no weather to delay them. They often leave ruts in the yard, patches of un-mowed areas, broken landscape lights that are in the flower bed, do not wipe blades between yards spreading clover and weeds to other yards, and under contract are supposed to blow off grass clippings and that rarely occurs and if it does its blown into my garage if open and into flower beds. On multiple occasions are leaving gates open allowing for pets to escape without owners knowledge, edging if it occurs is often done so low that it is leaving bare spots in the grass and around fences. We pay an HOA fee for quality services and this is not the quality that I pay for.

Our HOA has paid for services with this lawn company for years, and since we moved in, service has been bad to worse. It’s interesting that they note that they provide weed control services, when in reality, nothing to that effect has ever been provided in my yard service. In addition, while they do use weed eaters, sometimes they weed eat before even passing with the mower, leaving patches and weeds and uneven grass in their wake....and those with weed eaters literally run performing their jobs, missing an abundance of spots. I find it comical how this company seems to follow their stance on good communication by responding promptly to negative google reviews with blanket responses, when they leave emails unanswered and phone calls unreturned. Our neighborhood was completely skipped last week when there wasn’t a rainy day at all with no explanation. Good service includes doing a quality job AND appropriate notice and communication when things can’t be done. US Lawns provides neither of these.
