      We had been TruGreen customers for many years, but the service we’ve received in the last year has been terrible. The long time technician that always treated our yard quit coming, the replacement while not as friendly did seem to get the job done. Then they performed our service on our neighbors yards on two different occasions. I called the local number but never get a local person, instead I was routed to a call center in the Bahama’s or someplace. The first time they did send someone out to complete my service fairly quickly, but the second time I had to call multiple times & finally requested a manager call me back. When I finally was contacted by a manger he of course apologized and said they would get someone out right away at no charge. I explained my credit card had already been charged but that I had contested the charge since I didn’t receive service and no one was calling me back. He again apologized and said he completely understood. I had hopes that things would get better, but then my late fall application was a dry yellow pellet looking product which the technician not only got on my yard but all over my sidewalks, driveway, even into the street. Then it rained and it stained my sidewalks and driveway. When I called to let them know they did send someone out to “clean it up” but couldn’t do much and said that with time it would go away. It eventually did, but it was a huge mess and the previous technician had never made such a mess. Then in early March I got a letter from a collection agency saying I owe TruGreen $64. I immediately called TruGreen because their last application had been on February 2nd and they billed my credit card. The call center rep took my name and said someone would call me. This time a local person did call. I explained the situation and how I don’t understand how I can be delinquent when they have my credit card and automatically bill me. She looked into and said it was because I had disputed a previous charge. I then explained the reason for the dispute and that I had even spoken to someone about the dispute. She called her manager, then called me back and said they understood it had not been coded properly and to disregard the collection notice. Then on Wednesday I called TruGreen because I was seeing weeds start popping up and wanted to see when they could come treat them but was told I was no longer a customer! I said since when, even after everything I had not canceled my service nor been notified my service was being canceled. I asked to speak to a manager, she said one would call back in 24-48 hours and guess what no one ever called!!!! TruGreen I am done, you have lost a long time loyal customer, that even gave you the benefit of the doubt regarding your recent service due to “Covid” but this is to much! I would not recommend TruGreen to anyone at this point!!!

      I had my lawn taken care of by the most wonderful gentlemen named William Joy he was very knowledgeable friendly professional when it came to explaining what I need to do and know about my lawn he answered all of my concerns that I had, he went up and beyond the call of service he took my trash to the curb as he was leaving, he was very friendly to my kids and pets as they ran around and played in the yard. He made sure he was not putting my kids in harms way and that means alot to me and my family. I wish all companies hired young men with his knowledge and friendly present. He should really get a pay rise and or a promotion I think he would be great for training others in your company.

      Unfortunately, after almost three years spending a lot of money, I finally realized it’s a good marketed brand, but really isn’t a reliable product. Their team is always nice, but the results speak for themselves. We canceled, and would not recommend until they improve their products substantially. Unfortunately none of the grass, shrub, or mosquito services held up to a cheap DIY from Amazon for an 8th of the cost and time. One star for the product, but they get three because of the nice people.
