I’m so frustrated with being told one thing by customer service whom I believe actually want to help the customer versus the services I receive on my lawn care. Customer service has compensated me for each and every issue by refunding the service not delivered or handled correctly. My tree and shrub tech is phenomenal but I was told this year that TruGreen doesn’t treat flowering bushes and funny thing is that’s all I have so have you been taking my money for no reason? Not to mention due to your poor scheduling I have nearly lost my bushes (over 60 days between treatment and Japanese beetle infestation). I have called several times and just when I believe they say they are going to do something then the Newark DE does not deliver. Their management are never available and never call back when you are promised a call. I think at this point I will look at switching my services next year and hope for the better, because best was prepandemic and now this is insane that I pay this much money for having nutsedge and not grass like I use to. Please stop telling me it’s because of the weather! I have lived here 25 years and the first two years I had your service it was great and somewhere along the way all I hear now is no techs to service the area, the weather is at fault, etc… EXCUSES! Stop making excuses and start delivering the services I pay high dollar for services not rendered! There are so many documented things that I don’t think it will let me post it all in this review. I will not remove this posted review until things are actually made right. I am reasonable and rarely do I post negative reviews so if I do you know it’s serious!

I used them last year and they ruined my lawn. TruGreen apologized and said they’d reimburse me $400 for new sod for damaged areas but they ignored my multiple requests with the sod invoice to get reimbursed.

This is for the tree and shrub service. We had been on vacation and came back to find many of our bushes dead or dying with disease. The day we got back the Tru green tech came to do routine service on tree and shrubs. We never saw him, but he left his standard note. There was handwritten notes, but nothing referring to the dead and dying boxwood bushes. We called trugreen and they promised to send someone out to see, twice they scheduled this with customer service sincere concern and twice the tech didn't show up, even with calls from customer service and scheduling folks that the tech was coming. Even app showed map with him on the way. We are 15 year customers, and have tried to handle this thru the company. No tech or supervisor has reached out to us. This is the first time we have ever complained. We will be looking for new lawn, tree and shrub service. I suggest you do to if serviced or of the Newport de trugreen office.
