  Consumer beware! I NEVER write negative reviews but I have been left with no choice with Trugreen. I recently signed up for multiple services at 2 different addresses . They have the Worst customer service I have ever experienced and they don’t do the services promised. When they have shown up (after multiple cancels), they only sprayed 1/2 of the lawn and aerated very poorly if at all, with very little plugs left. Calling customer service is worthless. If you are able to get through to someone, they don’t care to help and nothing gets accomplished. You can’t call the branch directly. I’ve emailed customer service multiple times with no response. Sales guys are so friendly and “helpful” until they get your credit card number the sale and then it’s all over from there.

  SAVE YOUR $$ and CREDIT! This company really did us dirty and they WILL NOT return calls. We had several issues during the year we had service with them after they changed our service tech. We didn’t have adequate treatments and they seemed to be super rushed like they tech didn’t want to be there. They didn’t complete a service for us and after multiple times complaining about not getting adequate service we hired someone else and an Arborist to treat our trees and found out they were definitely dying and said TruGreen had not been treating the trees with appropriate treatment. When I had previously asked the girl w/TruGreen who was treating them she didn’t really know just stated she was just given the route. She wasn’t even treating everything and told me they never sent her with enough treatment to cover her routes. She said she’d come back never did. We called and complained again about having to hire someone else who said our trees were actually dying they said someone will call you. We finally said we wanted to cancel and would be disputing last charge since they did not complete and had been doing a poor job for awhile. Not to mention we had to hire someone else. We definitely didn’t feel we were getting what we were paying for. Fast forward 1 year later, haven’t heard a word from them, no calls, no emails, no mail. We get a collection letter this week for the amount we told them upfront we would be disputing due to incomplete service and they never even called us to discuss. A year later! Again, tried to call to discuss and was told they totally understood our concern and would have a branch manager reach out within 48hours and again, NO CALL. Save yourself a huge headache and find another company! They are very unprofessional and can’t be trusted! Look at their over 2000 complaints on BBB.

  everyone please be careful when choosing your lawn care. your actions affect the ecosystem that we live in. when you kill and poison the insects, you poison the birds and deplete their food and shelter sources as well. companies like TruGreen are not only harmful to our environment but also to our beautiful animal neighbors like squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, etc. our pets and our bodies are also affected. chemicals that they use have been proven to be harmful and toxic. the fact that trugreen continues to make claims that they are “environmentally friendly” and “organic” is just appalling. we unknowingly bought into these tactics and it just makes me sick to think about the consequences. i may be over sensitive but im so upset thinking about all of the snails, rolli pollies, spiders and other life in the yard that has been poisoned :-(
