Years ago this company had a door to door sales guy that came to my house. I opened the front door to a large man holding my stair railing in his hands. He leaned on it and broke it clean off. I was told they would pay to fix it. After numerous times contacting them I was told I could get free yard work, which I didn’t want. I followed up with corporate and they said they would fix it. (Worked with Brenda) but soon they stopped getting back to me too. I oddly still get a ton of advertising and mail from them so I tweeted about it and of course they got back to me right away on a public tweet. They told me the following: “Cindy, we have received a determination from our legal/claims department. Regrettably, due to the amount of time that has passed, we are not able to properly investigate this matter at this time. We are not able to determine if TruGreen caused the damage, if the railing was already broken or compromised, there are no records from that far back, and there is no information regarding who was involved in the complaint. Regrettably, there is nothing we can do to assist with this claim at this time. Thank you. ~NB” None of this is my fault. They damaged my home and because they never got back to me or document the problem I get NOTHING. Unbelievable. Untrustworthy. Unresponsive. Irresponsible. Avoid at all costs.

The phone service and promos create confusion for customers. I prepaid for 2022 on Dec 4. After multiple phone calls to see if I was paid up, I got a new charge on March 18 for a year . Customer service is working from home so no one knows what is happening. I will be sure to get my local contact saved so I don't have to deal with corporate confusion. Good news is that the grass looks good. 👌

Had prepaid for yard pest control only and they performed a non ordered yard aeration. Their staff sprayed grass seed in all the landscaped areas, where we have to keep pulling out grass as it grows. They continue to call about payment for this service that we did not want. When I ask for a supervisor to call, they call on a line that comes into my phone as "spam", but when they call for payment it comes in as various local numbers.
