I have used their service for 3 years, and the quality of service got worse and worse. Several points of complaints: 1. Very poor customer service over the phone. Usually you have to be on hold for at least 1 hour before you can talk to a rep. 2. Representatives usually have no idea about their services. 3. One rep even told me that we cancelled two service appointments which we did not. 4. Weeds are everywhere, and the health of our lawn got worse and worse. 5. One rep asked me to talk to the service technician, so I asked them to call me before the tech comes out. They never called. 6. I left a feedback on my account expecting someone to respond, but as expected, no one responded. more update 1. someone from trugreen responded to this review and asked me to email them so that they will contact me. I did and still no one contacted me. 2. I eventually went online again and chatted with a lady, and she called me to ensure me that a local manager will call me within 24-48 hours to address my issues. Again, in 3 days, no one called, as expected. 3. So I went online to chat with another rep again, and asked why. He then said an evaluation appointment had been already set up the next day (without notifying me!!), and he also said the local manager will call me the same day. You know what?? No one called and no one showed up for this so-called "appointment"!!!

I spoke to a Tru Green rep at this store about services for my lawn. My specific inquiries were about the treatment options, cost, and most importantly, the products they use. He was very helpful in providing me information and pushed extremely hard to get me to commit to a year of service. Honestly, I was ready to commit to the service however, I wanted to research the products they would use to treat my yard. I explained to the rep that I was happy to provide my information but that I wanted to research the products and speak to my wife to ensure we’re both comfortable with the treatment plan before committing. He pushed back about how they had the most refined products in the industry from 50 years of experience. I politely stated that “I understand what you’re telling me and that your products are effective however, I am not going to commit to a service until I’ve researched your products and spoken to my wife.” The rep’s response was “good luck with that” and then he hung up. Honestly, after hearing the sales pitch I was in favor of using Tru Green and signing up for their service, but not anymore. If the salesman can’t even end a phone call with some civility, then I don’t want to work with that company.

New Customer In San Antonio, signed up for lawn service. They scheduled me ( without my input) on a Thursday. That was a bad day. They don't answer at their office, but their answering service rescheduled me for Saturday. I wanted to go over my lawn on their visit. Decided to call on Saturday to get an estimated arrival time ( their answering service of course) told me I was scheduled for Wednesday ( again without asking me). Found out they don't work on Saturday!!! No one ever called me to see if Wednesday was ok. And its not ok. First time customer and user not happy.
