  Met with Don on a nice rainy afternoon to evaluate the symptom I was seeing, and set out to discover the root cause. We looked all over the property, and into the adjoining neighbors on 3 sides, to see where water was flowing, diverting, and accumulating, so he could establish potential hypotheses to test, and to find the root cause. Once established, we discussed a variety of potential solutions, given my competing desires. He then explained in detail how each would be work, and we agreed on the best overall approach. Though the whole 2 hours, he explained everything, sought my input, and gave me a great depth of understanding about my yard, how it works, and how it could work better to meet our needs. I was never being "sold" something. While not a free estimate, the thoroughness of his review, the time taken to understand the issues and communicate throughout has set a benchmark that I have never previously witnessed, and can only hope to encounter from other contractors for home repairs/maintenance.

  Don went way above and beyond on leveling off our yard and fixing our drainage issues in front of our house to divert water around. The pride that is taken in his work shows. He makes it feel like he’s working on his own yard. No corners were cut it was all done the proper way. We are very pleased.

  Don did a wonderful job. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great pond for years to come. With an added touch he placed a huge bolder upon the hill of the pond for sitting. What a great expression of thoughtfulness. Great job to all that helped build my dream pond. Now we wait for rain !! Robin and Ed.
