  I have been using this company for years at multiple properties. They have always done me good. I have some complex landscape request. They have always done to my request. They are upfront and forth coming. They also have done sprinkler blow outs and I have never had a problem. Thanks JOSH and crew..... You save me many times.🤗

  About 2 weeks ago I called my local irrigation company and asked for the contact information to the lateral board in my area since I have irrigation water rights at the home that I just bought. Being 29 yr old new home owner with no knowledge of irrigation, I set out to learn anything that I could to figure out what my responsibilities are within my neighborhood related to maintaining my irrigation and the ditch. OMIC has this number listed as one of the contacts for Mutual Mesa Lateral Board. I spoke with a gentlemen named Brian at Thompson Enterprises that told me all of the reasons why I shouldn't use my irrigation and utilize City water instead and proceeded to belittle me about my animals and my desire to use the irrigation that I have a legal right to. I'm highly disappointed that this company has their number listed at a contact at the Orchard Mesa Irrigation Company (not to their knowledge) to persuade local community members that they should hire them for their Landscaping services and discourage the use of irrigation for their own profit. No Brian, you will not be invited to my home on the request for a quote from your company. This is an EXTREMELY UNEHTICAL business practice and is deceptive marketing. I am upset that as a young home owner I was almost forced by this company into using city water due to the gentleman at this company providing false statements in response to my questions with the deliberate intent to deceive me. This was absolutely intentional. BAD BUSINESS!

  Hello Allison, sorry you feel that you were misled. Please feel free to reach out and I would be happy to go over your options with you. My name is Josh and I own Thompsons Landscape Maintenance. Our office number is 812-5296. I was also unaware that OMIC had us listed for any irrigation questions since we are only a service provider for private property owners and do not control any irrigation water to your property. I talked with Brian and I think you misunderstood him. He was not trying to convince you to use domestic water. He told you that if your house was hooked to domestic water for the landscaping there is most likely a reason why someone set it up that way. He also recommended to you that you should not water your chickens and animals with the ditch water since it does have pesticides in it and is not healthy for drinking by humans or animals. Sorry for any confusion, and we were not trying to convince you to use domestic (city) water, we were only trying to educate you to not let your animals drink the ditch water, and with out seeing your system, let you know that the ditch water irrigation part of it may not work since it was abandoned and hooked to the domestic source. I would be happy to look at it and help you out. Feel free to contact me directly if you need anything.
