  I have used Woods Lawncare Service for some years now for basic lawn maintenance including weed control, general fertilizing and occasional aeration and over-seeding in the fall. This kind of program for your lawn requires knowledge of the type of grass best suited for your area, the amounts of light and moisture on your property, the amount and frequency of fertilization required, how to control weeds and the diseases that can affect your lawn, etc. In other words, good knowledge of the whole field of lawn and landscaping. When I first moved to NC, I originally looked at the NC State Extension web site for recommendations for lawn establishment and maintenance. Everything is there from grass types for the NC area, mowing heights, watering amounts, schedules for frequency of fertilization and use of weed herbicides and insecticides, etc. I saw how complicated that can be. I learned that Wood’s Lawncare Service has training and experience in all those areas and saw they can also do renovation and other landscaping work, so I turned my lawn over to them. I’m very satisfied with their work and I can tell they know what they are doing. They have been in this business for many years so have the experience. And I believe they receive on-going chemical training in weed and insect control etc., some of that being required by state law for those who use chemical herbicides and insecticides. Give them a call; you won’t be disappointed.
