  “The Lawn Clipper is the Best” lawn service provider in Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties. High Quality Lawn Care + Great Customer Service + Reasonable Prices = Lawn Clipper As an educator and business owner, I did my research prior to hiring Carlos. The things I considered included: 1. How’s the reputation? I checked out their on-line reviews. I talked with family and friends about different lawn service companies. This is a good research method to find good companies, and its effective to weeding out unreliable or expensive companies that your neighbors are not satisfied. 2. Are they licensed and insured? Being licensed and insured is a must. But it's not a standard. If an uninsured or unlicensed service provider gets hurt or chucks a rock through your window, as the homeowner you may be liable. 3. How is their customer service? Good customer service from a lawn company seems to be a diamond in the rough these days. It’s tough to get a quote. It’s a hassle to sign up or get them to come out to get them to give you a quote or provide services after you hired them. It’s even more difficult to modify service or get specialty jobs done. Many companies are disorganized, and you’ll spend way too much time playing phone tag. 4. What equipment are they using and how do they maintain it? A good question to weed out low quality lawn care providers: Are they using the right equipment for the right job? I own a 3.58 property which requires a provider with the right equipment to get the job done quickly. In addition, you should ask your provider: “How often do you sharpen your blades?” Dull blades make grass look tattered and brown on top. 5. How reliable are they? I’ve discovered from past experiences, hiring lawn service provider for my home is problematic because they came out once and then they disappeared. .” One week they’re mowing and fertilizing your lawn, the next week they’re gone with no trace. What’s the deal? Sometimes, companies simply don’t have the operational capacity to expand, and they collapse. 6. What are their prices. Are their competitive prices based on market conditions? Ask these questions: (a) Is it fair to the buyer (you the customer)? (b) Fair to the Seller (lawn service provider)? (c) Based on current market conditions (Current cost of fuel + labor + overhead + fair profit); Last year, after doing my research, I chose “Lawn Clipper”. They did an truly outstanding job at very reasonable prices cutting my 3.58 property, located on a sloped lot on the Chester River, in Kent County, MD. I have to rely on Carlos, because my primary residence is in Virginia. Even my Maryland neighbors have complimented me on what a “outstanding job” Carlos and his crew does cutting my lawn.
