  The Home Depot has exquisite customer service and an American flag in the front which represents its great patriotism. My personal experience was superlative to the greatest extent. I came regarding a simple task, purchasing stain for a wooden table comprised of pine wood. I was unsure of what stain would be optimal, so I decided to ask one of the employees. I was then showed a variety of options based off some specifications I gave. I wanted a stain which gave the wood a natural appearance that was darker than the original wood. The employee assisting me also recommended that I use a poly stain, which is a combination of stain and polyurethane and I ultimately decided to purchase the stain he recommended. When I applied the stain, it looked phenomenal. It had the perfect color and consistency. It did not develop any air pockets and when it dried, the poly stain gave it a protective layer while preserving the wood grain of the table. If anything could be taken away from this, it is that Home Depot is superior to Lowe’s.

  I love the store. Don't get me wrong. I shop here all of the time and it's fine. But every single time I have tried to call, I've had to press buttons for all of the departments to try to get someone to answer the phone. Can you not just hire one more person to answer the phone?

  I would suggest NEVER buy an appliance from the Home Depot. Ordered an electric range, scheduled the in-home delivery service, and the delivery team showed up, and then none of the three people in the delivery team spoke English!! The communication was almost impossible, wasting almost an hour of time. Then, they refused the delivery for "running out of time" (???). Then they said they will come again three weeks later. I did not want to deal with these people anymore, so I simply canceled my appliance and ordered from a local appliance store (which was pretty reliable and responsible). Then it took the Home Depot more than a week to process the refund. Also, very unreliable and rude customer service. Different representatives say totally different things and contradict each other.
