We love shopping at the Home Depot in Clayton, Georgia. While shopping there on April 2, Sue provided outstanding customer service. We needed three specific items, and she helped us find them and ensured we chose the correct merchandise. As an extra bonus, she gave our dog belly rubs and treats. We will be back soon, and will be sure to look for Sue.

Very prompt service with curbside pickup. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to bring our order out.Very friendly as well. Easy in and out.

I'm giving this store 3 stars even though they normally give me a 4.5 to 5 star experience. Recently moved to Clarkesville GA and found that the Clayton location of Home Depot is the best when it comes to friendly helpful peeps that are willing to go the extra mile. Today, I needed to purchase 130 insulation vent Baffles, individually to boot. Took me over 40/45 minutes to count these all out without assistance and it was over $300 after tax. I asked this young guy who was working the self check out if there was a way to ring them up as a whole instead of individually. He looked at me with his snarky stare and asked me how many? Said it like he wasn't gonna believe me no matter what count I gave him. So I told him it was 130, then he asked me how I knew it was 130? I felt like saying, "because I actually know how to count", but I kept my cool and said, "it took me the better part of an hour to count, and I'm not one to find favor in being dishonest." He still wasn't convinced and bent down to the rolling cart where they lay and tried to see for himself, and reluctantly pushed 130 in the count and gave me the royal eye until I cashed out. I literally wanted him at that point to get on his knees and count for himself just to embarrass him the way I felt in front of other customers, but I'm the better man. Problem now I find, I'm in a pickle cuz I'm not sure I want that kind of service divvied out my way while paying way too much for their jacked up prices. To be thought of as a sketchy dude in front of people that I live around in beautiful Northern Georgia isn't my desire, I actually feel he owes me an apology. And yes, you only live once and ya say it like it is, my rule to live by. So other then everyone else that works there, who truly work to please, watch out for self check out where you'll get the 5th degree... I won't name names even though he really deserves it.
