NURSERY @ The Home Depot

I very rarely go to The Home Depot and honestly didn’t even know they had a Nursery.
Finally today I decided to go there and check it out, after unsuccessful attempts to find some indoor plants elsewhere.
To my surprise, and despite the very cold weather, they had quite a selection of pots and plants as well as seeds and soil.
I will certainly be back when it warms up so I can get a few more plants for my balcony.

First I want to say this store is great every time Ive gone in. They have a pretty good selection of items and every employee we have interacted with when we go in has not only been extremely knowledgeable and resourceful, but especially courteous. My fiance and I had a horrible experience with an appliance delivery but after coming in and working with Justin, the Customer Service Manager, he not only completely restored our opinions of Home Depot but was a true joy to work with. This guy is a true asset to the team at Home Depot and I am so grateful he was able to help us.

Always helpful & informative Store Associates. This store is like a living DIY Library for grown people. I love the experience & I love supporting all local merchant's in this area of business. Smiling faces & good vibes are free gifts! Explore this place & educate yourself.

To preface this, I am a Young Hispanic. I believe I was racially profiled in the lawn tools section, I had a pressure washer, pole saw, and chainsaw in my cart. A helpful elderly employee kindly asked if they could help with my cart. I refused saying I could handle it. They persisted and Took my cart from me, stating it would be waiting up front for me.

I understand there may be issues with theft in your store, but this behavior is beyond rude, it is insulting.

Upon reaching the front with the last item of my purchase, my cart was nowhere to be found. The manager on duty Amy was able to assist me with locating my cart, and gave me a ten percent discount for the trouble.

My star rating reflects my shopping experience at this store.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life.  Had to ask three different people were specific power tool was. Then once I got it, I asked where the batteries were and knowing that the batteries were behind a locked cage the employee sent me to a different aisle and walked away from me. Not only that, prices at this Home Depot are different than other Home Depot’s. I will never ever set foot in his doors again and I would suggest you all think very carefully about what you’re spending in the store.

Why would we accept a damaged freezer that swings the wrong way? Last Wednesday Home Depot delivered a large damaged freezer to us and called it a "loaner". The  guys said we should keep and use it as a "loaner" while Home Depot arranged to have a replacement door sent with a repair man to replace the scratched and dented door (in at least two different places), and that when they returned to replace the door they'd make it swing in the opposite direction during the repair.  How would we know that you tell customers to keep damaged appliances as a "loaner" if they didn't tell us this?  How would we even know this language or operational policy?  When we asked if we should call Home Depot or what were we supposed to do, the guys told us they took photos, and we're "all set" and they'll have Home Depot call us.  Now Monday, 3-business days later, we're being told there are no photos (no prob - freezer is still damaged), and there are NO plans to repair the damaged freezer that was purchased as "new" and left with us as a "loaner".  In fact, they can't even tell us the names of the delivery guys that swindled us into this lying fraud. BTW - the scratch in the middle of the door is colored with YOUR blue shipping/packaging - so this is clearly YOUR damages Home Depot. Please, General Manager of Home Depot - contact me.  I spoke with Amelia at your service desk for over an hour today. It's clear Home Depot is using fraudulent operatives with your customers.  I paid YOU Home Depot - this is YOUR responsibility Home Depot of Williston Vermont.  FIX THIS!  I have filed a police report with the Vermont State Police in St. Albans, VT Case #2A2000943.  Pleas stop this FRAUD and fix this immediately!  If this is not resolved by tomorrow, I will refute this on my credit card and place your damaged freezer in our driveway for you to collect - because I will not pay for your damaged freezer.  HELLO - earth to Home Depot - WAKE UP AND BE A RESPONSIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will remove this review after you fix this.  I will seek remuneration for DISTRESS if you do not fix this.  I believe there may be government agencies that also protect the elderly - and we will additionally report you for ELDER ABUSE for you to do this to my 78-year old father if you do not rectify this.  I was here - I watched it all. This must be fixed immediately. This was supposed to be a  $900+ birthday present and instead you took advantage of a 78-year old....think about your own parents and grand parents and how you'd like it if someone did this to them!!!!!

To start got to the front door the door is opened four of us walked in it was approximately one minute past 8:00 we were told they were not open to go back outside next when we did finally get in at 5 after 8:00 your oils up there are so blocked you cannot get to any of your materials they had no flat top carts because they were all in use for whatever purpose to pile stuff on they had pallets up and down the aisles so you could not get up and down the aisles had to carry plywood the whole length of the aisle to get it onto a cart that they did have every time we go to there in Williston the isles are always blocked I understand you have to pick orders but you should have some other place to put the orders other than in the way of all your customers thank you I was hoping to be able to post pictures as I have them of how bad it was

I’m always impressed with what high quality service I get at this store. I’ve been to others where the employees hide rather than help. Definitely give this store 5/5 all the way around.

Really disappointing customer service everything we go here. I can't count the number of times we've asked for help, only to be told "I don't know, let me radio someone". Today we waited for half an hour for help, ended up leaving and went to Lowe's with much better luck. The only exception to this was Grace in the paint department, who was delightful.

Do not order an appliance through Home Depot in Williston, VT. They work with Spirit Delivery for delivery services. Awful company to work with. After the "attempted delivery" we could see the truck on our security camera. The truck did not even come up the driveway and sat across the street 500ft away. It sat there for 10 minutes, then left.  They did not come up the driveway, let alone to the front door to let us know they were there. Then when I spoke to them on the phone about it, the lady became extremely rude acted like it was our fault. Then they scheduled a new delivery for 10 days later. What a joke! There was nothing Home Depot could do about it because it was out of their hands. Home Depot must stop using Spirit for appliance delivery.
