I purchased a LG washer and dryer a couple of weeks ago and paid for installation. They were delivered on February 2nd and the washer seem to go smoothly. When it came to the dryer the delivery man informed us we have the wrong outlet and he couldn't install it. He told us to contact an electrician and left the dryer in our laundry room. We called Home Depot and they told us they couldn't have someone out for a couple of weeks. We couldn't wait that long, we have a household of four and we wash laundry weekly. The told my husband he could go into the store and get the supplies to do the installation himself and they would cover it. He went to get the supplies on Friday after work and installed the dryer that night, it took him a couple of hours. I started laundry Saturday morning and noticed the clothes were super hot and I selected cold. I also noticed the floor was moist. I informed my husband and he took a look at the back of the washer and noticed Home Depot crossed the hot/cold water lines. He fixed it and called Home Depot to inform them of some scratches we noticed on the dryer and the moisture issue on the floor under the washer. They told him his 48 hour window was up and referred us to LG. He was livid and told them how disappointed we were in their service. How could we test them out when they didn't even install the dryer! We are so annoyed and we will definitely never buy appliances from Home Depot again. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

I love home depot in general always a great place to shop and get the items you need for any home project. However lately every single time a shop here I am always 100 percent of the time approached by sales people who are trying yo sell me solar. It is very overwhelming. I have a anxiety disorder and do not appreciate people approaching me. It would be better if the had a station set up for them so If people are interested in purchasing solar we could go to them instead. It is just the way in which they approach you. They are very aggressive and I would greatly appreciate it if they would stop. ESPECIALLY after telling them you are not interested. So that I may shop in peace. Until then I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Purchased a 72×80 Jeld-Wen Sliding Patio Door on close out . My screen was bent & instead of spending $160 to replace screen I upgraded to the Jeld-Wen Low E Glass unit. The store is very busy so I picked up glass Thursday morning at 7am. The staff at Home Depot rolled it out to the pickup & loaded in the back. Deliver Time over two weeks & I needed it three days later for Saturday Install. I had Glass - Rite install all new windows which they manufacture at Gibson location but that company does not do Patio Doors that large. So I bought at Home Depot and hired contractor to install. The end result very satisfying over the 16 year old home builders patio door. Very quiet & efficient. We wanted French Doors and Home Depot had a few really nice ones with the adjustable blinds in the glass. That's a $1,000 three times the price of the slider! Figure up to a grand for installation too. Choose your contractor wisely. The first vid could not guarantee sheetrock or stucco repair. Our contractor installed in less than 4 hours- no stucco or dry wall damage & it looks great after caulking inside & out. After 15 plus years it's time to upgrade and always smart to invest in your home if you are happy where you live. I'd recommend Home Depot. We are now working with them on tile to redo 1st floor & possibly wood floors on upstairs to replace carpet. They are always helpful & usually a little less money than the Big "L", but not always.
