  We contacted them in October of 2020. The job was done very well however we are now in March of 2021 and the job has still not been completed Some of the shrubs died shortly after planting and they have promised to return to replace them…still waiting.   My mother has been a loyal client of the Greenskeeper since they opened over 30 years ago. They have been increasingly slow to respond to her requests over the past several years. A year and a half ago they were too replant her beds. In the spring she paid half of the money. Still no response. They said it would be June or July then they said it would be early fall and now we hear nothing at all. My mother is older, and I believe she is being taken advantage of. I called several days ago, but my call was not returned. If I don’t hear back soon we will take it to the next level.

  I have used this lawn service for years. Each year, the amount of lawn mowed decreases and the weeds increased. I’ve called and written, but no response. I’d be happy to pay more if necessary and told them so, but they would not accommodate me. They kept mowing and charging me through the end of October, when there was no reason to- the grass had stopped growing weeks earlier. When I called, they said I had to have it done because it was part of leaf care. When I told them I was using another company to remove leaves, they said I was obligated by contract to use them, even though I had signed a mow only contract. They sent people out even though I’d had another company remove the leaves and charged me $200. When I objected, they reduced it to $150. I’ll never use them again.

  We are so very sorry you are unhappy. The detail that you did not give is that your notification of finding someone else to do your fall cleanup was after we had already been there twice. It is indicated on your mowing contract that we will do fall cleanup unless notified. So we naturally assumed we should come. We deeply regret that you are unhappy but we do believe that this was the result of a miscommunication. We strive to operate with integrity and this has not changed in the 30+ years we have in business.
