  I did a lot of research on where to buy sod and what sod to buy. Chose the Grass Outlet and their Buffalo Grass and I’m very happy with the results. Had 5 pallets delivered, and the overwhelming majority of the squares were moist, lush, and green. I’ve been watering religiously and the Buffalo Grass has really taken hold and looks great. The picture you see here is 2 weeks after install. I would definitely use the Grass Outlet again. For those buying Buffalo Grass definitely be sure to kill everything on the ground before you put it down; I didn’t and I will pay the price for that, but at the end of the day, this water-lite, luscious sod is perfect for Austin, Texas!

  I purchased four pallets of celebration Bermuda about a month ago. The price was good, especially considering how few places had sod after the winter storm. I was able to have it delivered to my house within a few days. The delivery truck showed up right on time at 7am and within 10 minutes all four pallets were in my driveway and he was on his way. I installed the grass immediately that day and followed the watering schedule from the website. Four weeks later the lawn looks great and I am 100% satisfied with the purchase.

  They are reasonable price for the sod and delivery. Very kind helpful stuff. But the quality of sod I would say depends on your luck, some of the prices were good quality some of them were just full of weeds. They will give you exchange or refunded.

  Hello KiKi! Thanks for sharing your feedback! Again, we apologize that some of your sod pieces had some weeds. Although we try only to harvest perfect cuts of grass free of weeds, sometimes our pre-emergent herbicide applications are delayed due to extended periods of heavy rain. Though we get back into our fields to apply the delayed pre-emergent herbicide asap, sometimes small amounts of weeds can emerge here & there, as timing is essential with pre-emergent applications. When this occurs, we must treat these weeds with post-emergent herbicides. Unfortunately, it can take 14+ days for weeds treated with most post-emergent herbicides to begin to discolor and die back. Although there may be a few pieces within a pallet with some weeds, they generally die back with some time since they've been treated with an herbicide in our fields before harvesting. Further, our aggressive weed management maintenance on our farms should be helping to prevent/control weeds in your yard now & down the road, as long as you have been following the recommended maintenance schedule.
