  We were referred to Tentinger Landscapes by a family friend and we could not be happier with the work they have done for us. When we first bought this house, we did not know where to begin with the property, and looking back now we can't even believe it's the same home! We have just been so pleased by the level of professionalism and communication throughout this process. Now that it is finished we are seriously looking forward to having this entire upcoming summer to enjoy the new backyard!

  We used Tentinger Landscaping for over two years. During that time we spent over $20K in landscaping (not including the fees for weekly maintenance). The weekly maintenance crew was fine. However - many of the trees that were planted died within the first 2-3 years. Those that died within 2 years were replaced for free under warranty. Those that died after 2 years were no longer under warranty. I had to spend the same amount of money to replace them. For example, one of the many projects we had Tentinger do was the installation of 6 Canadian Hemlocks. The cost was somewhere around $4500-$5000. Within 3 years 4 of the 6 had to be replaced (3 after the warranty expired). Another landscape company removed two of the dead hemlocks this morning and showed me where the roots had been cut. In his words the trees “never had a chance.” We also had 3 bald cypress installed by Tentinger. All 3 are dead - after the warranty expired. I have not yet had them removed - but fully expect their roots will have been cut as well. BUYER BEWARE!

  Tentinger is difficult to contact. They never respond to voice mails left for them. I finally got through and asked for a designer to plan some work. While the designer did arrive on the date/time scheduled, no further contact was received after 4 weeks. I made a follow-up call, and of course, only connected to voice mail. I left a message and once again received absolutely no feedback. This is a giant red flag as to what to expect from this company.
