  I had always thought very positively of the company. Without a signed contract however they trespassed and did work at my home, while I was out, without an appointment and without informing me and while my dog was outside, and presented me a $1,300 bill for work I did not request or need, potential scam. The crew also performed the work when clearly my lawn was not prepared for such a service ( leaves and other work going on) I had asked for an estimate the prior year but clearly stated repeatedly I was not going forward with it. There was no signed contract. They sent repeated emails to come, each which I responded to, and I was not under contract with them. The crew was very sneaky, clearly knowing my dog had been about. When I arrived home, after a difficult family ordeal, they were almost finished and I tried to contact the company unsuccessfully ( it was a Saturday). On Monday, the owner refused to speak with me. And several company employees made false promises to me, leading me on and wasting my time, including Kat Marra and Richard Dove. I generously offered a resolution which included helping the company educate the public on organic lawncare on my community platform in return for future organic treatments, as well as ensuring processes were in place that this does not happen again especially with people’s dogs ( I understand mistakes can happen), and asked for details on the chemicals the crew used to see if I needed to remediate my well, land or advise my vet as my dog was showing signs of being sick. If I use anything on my property, it had always been organic. No one fessed up, the owner lied about the chemicals used and said only organic treatments were used, while the crew said they were using chemicals. The company dragged on answers to questions and wasted my time for several days, after amicably trying to resolve from my side. I had to file a police report about trespassing and will have to bear all my own costs in property damage and remediation. The crew also damaged my driveway and fencing with their vehicles and machinery. If a company does not care to have the owner speak with someone who have concerns, especially when their dog is ill from potential chemicals, and they have questions, you should beware. Work with companies who are at the heart of your community, not merely looking to plow through their services without concern for you, your family, or your property and especially when they have become aware in writing that you do not want their services.

  We have been using LawnDoctor for seven years before I finally could not bear it and want to give Teed & Brown a try. Wow... What a difference it makes! Peter Teed told me it will be very different 45 days. I took a picture of our lawn before 9/20/20 and after 10/22/20. What a difference one month makes. These guys are not cheap, but they know their stuff and are extremely good at what they do. Worth every penny.

  I'd like to compliment two of Teed & Brown's teams: Paulo's team and the team of Gustavo F. and Alfred (not sure of the initial of Alfred's sirname). Both teams were hard working, professional, and it was clear that they wanted to get things right. Also, working with Teed & Brown's office personnel has been very easy: they work hard to accommodate the homeowner's schedule and requests. I give Teed & Brown the highest rating.
