Best place to go for small engine repair!! Looked all over town when my snowblower quit working and every place I called was out a few weeks before they would look at it. Taylors got me in the same day and had it running the next day!! Will only go there from now on! Very knowledgeable and friendly!

I bring all my 'moldy-oldies' in for repair/tune ups & he always helps to bring them back to life... don't have to worry about 2nd & 3rd trips in cause didn't fix it the 1st time...like so many shops in twn... I esp appreciate that! Call shop if Q's cause they don't have a lot on-hand but when it comes to fixing things (saws, trimmers, all kinds of lawnmowers, basically any gas powered engines) he has a natural nack u can't get from book learning...

Worst service ever! I took my mower in to get a new blade and have them check the drive train. They added in a tune-up and some other work without my knowledge. The bill was over $200 and when I complained that they had performed work I didn't ask for, the owner told me that he had written it down exactly as I had asked. They had given me a work order to sign without letting me read it, and told me I was just signing that I had left a $40 deposit. When I complained that they did work I did not ask for, the owner yelled at me and hung up on me. I got my mower home and thee first time I used it, the wheel came off while I was mowing. My neighbor came over to look at it and the pin holding the wheel on had been bent and forced on (this is how you get to the drive train). He was able to get the wheel back on, but three mows later, the drive train completely stopped working and the mower wouldn’t move. I had to take the mower to another place and spend another $200+ to have it properly fixed. The owner claims below that they explained what they were going to do and I signed the work order. This was not true. I also asked them to look at the drive train and contact me with an estimate before doing any work, which they did not. I specifically told them that I did the maintenance on the mower and it didn’t need anything else done. This place used to be great with the former owner, but now clearly has completely gone down hill. Both the service and the repairs are quite lacking. I used to recommend them to everyone I knew and that definitely won't be happening again!

Meg I am not quite sure what happened but it's pretty much protocol when we write down on the work order what you tell us we don't really add anything that you don't say and then we ask you to sign below giving us permission to do the above stated repairs. I apologize for any miscommunication and sometimes you have to do other things to get the unit to run in order to check what you asked us to check if the unit doesn't run it's hard to check the drivetrain I'm not sure that this was the case but we usually always tell customers there's two places to sign at the bottom of a work order one is for safety mechanisms and one is for permission to do the above stated repairs we don't have you sign for the deposit so I think there was some major miscommunication here and I truly apologize for that. I can assure you though we never put any more money into any unit that the unit is not worth so your unit must have been well worth the amount that we put in it and again I truly apologize for the miscommunication and misunderstanding. I would hope that you would give us a chance in the future. Judi L Taylor
